Jamin Stuck On 1 ROM - Unusual - Please Help!

I upgraded my I-Mate Jamin yesterday to Profit Shadow 1.0 after following the upgrade guides, doing a Hard SPL, etc. All worked very well. Then I noticed that the volume wasn't as high as I liked, so this morning I flashed it again to Crystal 5.0 (not 5.1) and the volume was no better. Then I looked around and found an older version (dumb me I didn't realize it was a WM5 version) by LVSW (RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID ). This ROM had an extended ROM apparently. All installed OK, then I realized it was a WM5 program (volume still lower than I was looking for), so I decided to flash back to Profit Shadow 1.0 (no errors during the flash, but at the end when I got the HTC screen it went into Bootloader!). That's brings me to my PROBLEM! :mad: NO MATTER WHAT I TRY TO FLASH BACK TO, I JUST END UP IN THE BOOT MODE. I can flash LVSW ROM and it works, but NOT for any other ROM!! :confused: I have tried everything, read the forums for 6 or 7 hours and I tried everything suggested, but I'm unable to find a solution so I can Flash Back To Profit Shadow 1.0 OR Crystal 5.0. This seems like such a NOOB problem, that's why I searched for hours for a solution (hate to ask for help until I try to help myself first[/I])! I've flashed other HTC phones without problems… just never seen a ROM ( LVSW's RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID ) that just refuses to be flashed over!!!

You guys are always great and helpful. If someone could help me out of this mess, I would really appreciate it!!!:D

-If you installed ShadoW etc. rom, your SPL is 2.G4.4PDA..
-If you back to WM5, your SPL is 2.20.0001..
-If you want to install again ShadoW, first install HardSPL for increase your SPL to 2.G4.4PDA again, after you can install ShadoW :cool:

I did all that you suggested before I made a post for help... even tried it again, all except using the G4 method HardSPL (as my Jamin is a G3 - that's what I did the HardSPL for). Nothing I've read so far works... yes I've been all over the upgrade guides, etc. My hair is already gray, but it's going white fast!

The ( LVSW's RUU_Prophet_220734_2207114_024721_NVID ) just refuses to be flashed over!!! I'm not kidding! Try to flash ANY other ROM and it reverts to the boot loader screen, BUT I can flash LVSW's ROM above without errors!

There are a LOT of brilliant people out there... Does ANYBODY have a FIX for this? I'm tired, blurry eyed, pissed off, frustrated and feeling awfully stupid at the moment! HELP!!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!

I had tried the TRADITIONAL Method last night, but it didn't work for me, but this DID work!!! IT SHOULD BE A STICKY STICKY STICKY!!!

you've better.... ( FOR NEW METHOD)

1. After flashing hardSPL for g3 ( step 1) all went ok.

then BEFORE flashing/upgrading your Prophet to WM6,

please copy the 3 files from the jumpspl.zip to the root directory of
your G3 Prophet ( JUST NEXT TO THE " \WINDOWS" FOLDER,
(attachached, pease unzip and copy then paste)

2. UNPLUG YOUR DEVICE from PC,

3. Execute the SPL shortcut IN THE DEVICE, then you see a all bright or white screen,

Then plug back the USB port ( connect to computer) the device, THEN use the Rom Upgrade Utility (RUU) to the rom you like ( all activities can only be seen in the PC screen, nothing will be shown on the prophet....

4. Finally, after 100% ( at 85% may take to wait a bit longer, just be
patient, as it may look like hang for about 2 minutes) just wait, all will went
ok AND OF COURSE, after it auto-restart, ALL will be OKOKOK !!!

( better hard-reset for once more )
