Something strange..for me. after herald HardSPL

I was trying to hardspl my Herald, but i received an error abot comunicating with device and i have pressed finish.
After that i saw a message on the screen of the phone if i allow an application to be installed. i pressed yes. since that moment my Herlad doesn't pass bootloader.

Today i saw something strange:
-with the main battery attached in bootloader i see a messsage in the right corner saying "RUU".
-without the battery the phone starts in bootloader but there is no message in the right corner.


If i use mtty.exe and input the password i receive the following text

I don't know what RUURUN fail means...

i tried to flash the WM 5 and WM 6 spanish ROM from HTC website but i receive the same error : 300 invalid update tool.

What tools can i use to see if something is going wrong and what..

i saw that the command set 32 is not functioning well, i receive error, and when i use the commands ruurun 0 an ResetDevice the phone shuts down and does not start.

Did you have an SPL of at least 4.0.x.x before you began?
Either way... not a good thing...
I'm not an expert on this, though, so I'll let other people answer.

does it still have a bootloader screen?.....if so try a different SPL....see if that works

i had the exact ipl/spl that was shown after the upgrade, nothing changed 1.08.0001

How do i must change the SPL ? even with the ROM from HTC website i receive the error 300. invalid update tool.
i think something was changed in Bootloader but don't know what.

I need an advice from someone with better experience with Herald.
I saw that hardSPL from olipro uses JumpSPL, enablerapi.exe, and the image to be flashed.

When i ran the setup i didn't accepted the use of enablerapi or jumpspl so the flash finished before starting and gave me an error that it cannot communicate with the device.
So AFTER i received this message and so the flash process ended without even beginning to flash i assume that i have installed only jumpspl.exe or enablerapi.exe. i don't know for which one the message was because the language was spanish and i don't understand wery well.
so the effect of softspl how can be removed??? i know it loads a custom spl in ram but .......that's where my knowlege ends....

The HardSPL bricks devices with low SPLs. I'm sorry. I could be wrong, I'm not an expert in the field.

yes, now i know that. only that olipro does not write anything about that in his first post, not even now when there are a lot of people who had the problem.

but there is something strange with hardspl.... don't know what modifications is making and why not all of them...

It has to do with the IPL\SPL you have on the phone already. The patched SPL is only compatible with certain types.

You were warned though.. If you would have red further
you could have know it could happen with lower SPL..

there are a lot of requests for olipro....


and why read all thread when it is simple to write a warning on first page.
i agree that he is doing hardspl for everyone but i have a feeling that it is a unfinished...and with all the people who failed i think is better to stop sharing hard spl if he is unable to warn people.
