p4350 to Wing

Hi all, I was just wondering. What are all the necessary changes that must be made in order for a p4350 rom to work properly on a wing. I understand that it is flashable, but I have heard there are such problems with this relating to keyboard mapping and other things as well. I figured people could possibly post the steps of doing such a conversion in this thread since there is no exact thread on this specific issue (i think :D)

Recook the ROM with the proper keybddr.dll

The main reason that I'm asking this question is so that I can flash Itje's Touch IT 4 on my wing. His roms seem to be the very best, but since his latest rom is cooked for the p4350, my question is what problems will be encountered if this is flashed to a Wing and is there any easy way to get around them?

Everything is not resolved by cooking and recooking :rolleyes: , its a longer procedure to learn how to cook then to hack the registry

The keyboard issue is a little more complicated, me thinks.

Yep... you won't find them there... I've read those posts a thousand times among others and haven't found it yet... keep trying though

I already said how I think it can be fixed. I would release a version, but itje doesn't want this rom recooked at the moment.

Itje, do you know when you will allow the re-cooking of your 4.0 rom? I absolutely love your work, I would love to be able to use it on the wing.

What SPL do you have? You don't have to HardSPL. You can USPL, also.

I bricked my terra 2 times. believe me i was afraid, too. but it works....

i had a terra IPL and SPL 4.11.0000

But now it is HARD-SPL

worked perfect:) I had SPL/IPL at 4.17,
every Herald ROM flashable now:cool:
