HTC HOME on Cavalier

There is a CAB attached called 'Gregory HTCHome.cab', just reporting that this works very well on the Cavalier!

This cab file I uploaded from my PC, I previously downloaded it from here, but can't find the original post to provide credit to the author. This is NOT my file, I'm not claiming it or any credit for it.

Does not work for me.
I'm getting this message on a blank screen: "The layout you have selected cannot be loaded. Please select a different layout using the Home Screen item in Settings"

I found this same cab on Excalibur forum. It has 1.29MB and it works fine on my Cavalier (ignore the warning saying that this file is for previous version of WM).

Leave the colours and backgrounds at default. If you adjust any of these, it fails.

This version has working 'weather' and working 'favourite people', not sure of the other version, probably from the same fella.

I like this theme, but is there a way to show the WIFI connection status? I like how in the standard Winodws Mobile default it shows if you're connected via Wifi and the network you're connected to.

As well, is there a way to have shortcuts appear to recently used applications? (like in the default windows mobile theme?)

I was wondering how you can change a phone entry on the my friends app once it has been setup. at the moment if you hit delete, it prompts to permantly delete the contact which is not ideal.

Anyone got any ideas? And apologies if this has already been answered.

The dialog says "permantly delete contact" so i was concerned that it would actually delete the contact from the contacts store on the phone.

Turns out it only deletes it from the Favorites list, not from the contacts store.

Have just downloaded and run it on my LG KS20. Nice apps. However, can this be customized at all? For example, the music plugin, can I set it to play with S2P instead of win media?

can someone tell me where i can download or recover the original HTC layout that comes with the s630? when i installed this HTC Home, it deleted the original. i tried to remove the HTC Home, but the original layout was still gone.

Great also works for VDA GPS WM 6.1 !!! But it seems that the VDA GPS have not enough Power. Perhaps there is another version for Smartphones without Favorite Calls and Weather Plugin.

As far as I know the VDA GPS runs WM 6.0 standard.
