Hi there!
I've just flashed to Coffie Rom with some problem during HardSPL, needed almost 3 hours to do it, although I'm used to flashing ppc's...
As far as I can say, the Rom runs good on my G4, but I'm encountering a problem: I can't do a Hard Reset. My device has always had problem with it, after pressing comm and camera buttons and doing a soft reset, it almost always started, and does start normally. Sometimes it worked and I could do HardResets with other Roms, but with this I can't, I always get the three color screen with IPL/SPL number but text about reset. Pressing send doesn't work, too. Do I need to do a HardReset, and if yes, how?

I can probable be done with out cooking but I would gues the phone would become unstable and miss some functions. the best way is to cook a rom in the language you want

there is a plk cab on gullum.4shared.com but it's blue but it has the xt9 for polish and the regs need to be in the rom you are using

When I set up a password that locks my device (eg after 5 minutes idle), when I try to wake my prophet up the device says my password is incorrect, despicte the fact that I write my password 100% correct.

sorry but I do not know of any WM6 rom for Prophet that has this bus solved and it's as simple as this ..... If you need to have a password protected phone you must stick to WM5 or maybe there is a 3rd party software that works.

thats the reason for not using X button in the rom it is verry unstable and useless on propohet use some other like pBar

Finally I found a solution to this error.
Go to the first page, select this link "Direct link to coffie ftp folder" and the error to access ftp site appears. Now you go to the IE7 Page tab and select "open this ftp site in windows explorer". The windows explorer open now with the collection of all ROMs of our friend Gullum.

This workarround works from me.

After upgrade with this Rom(portuguese) my prophet dosen´t recognize the sd card.
I've tried the sd im my computer and my digital camera and every thing was ok, i've even formated the sd card but the problem continues.
My prophet, simply don't recognize it.

How can i solve this issue.

Just as a feedback,
I flashed the ESN version and I found several flaws maybe can interest you.
word completion didn't work
when tapping several today's plug-in (especially the calendar) the ring usually switch to vibrate:eek:
It ran slower than other roms, but when trying some CACHE tweaks from http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Prophet_Hacks_WM5
it seemed to work better, (or I got used to it:))
Sometimes, the response when tapping the screen, especially HTC album from other apps, and config screen, was difficult. (also the minimize button) (I had to tap twice or more sometimes).
Touchflo scroll ocassionally didn't work.
Also touchkeyboard and touchkeypad didn't work properly and when trying to hide them there was a blank in the screen.
Anyway, I've been using it for a week and I have'nt killed myself:)
There are some interesting apps, and I appreciate the effort. Thanks.

camera album now shows text in all roms but in english :D and Portuguese has the Audio Manager mui file now.

so no real need I just made the new upload because the server where the roms were storred is down and decided to upload them to this new server.

Not a single problem, everything works perfectly. Just had to remap camera button, thats all. I even installed the swedish "letter-recognition" cab from WM5 which allows you to write directly onto the screen with the stylus, and it works perfect.

Do anyone know if its possible to add another side to the "cube" so that it actually is a cube :) now I have, media icons on one side, contacts on one, and shortcuts on the third, I would like to add one more page with shortcuts to programs/functions.

Is that possible in this rom? I can't find the possibility to add more shortcuts/sides to the cube in "cube settings" app.

I have only experienced two things that bugs me. The first is that i can't connect to ANY WiFi connections anymore. I don't know if im doing it wrong (i guess im not xD), but it seems weird to me. The other is, that since ive upgraded to the coffee rom, i haven't been able to get my prophet to use my 2 gb Dane-Elec micro-SD card (which of course got an sd adapter ;)).

Does anybody know how to maybe solve these two problems or?

You haven't HardSPLed your device.

and then HardSPL your device before flashing this ROM.

The solution would be that someone fixed the FTP-server. It has been offline at least 5 days now.

When in the Touchflo(w?) media hub, and everytime when I choose "Pictures" I have to manually choose what directory I wanna look in.
Can this be changed so I don't need to do this everytime? Because it's kinda irritating.

You need to flash that ROM, and then HardSPL, then flash this ROM.

Despite being a great work (it must have taken you some time) and i respect you for that, i have some complaints. :P

I'm using the PTG version of the rom and i will post the errors on my S200:

1-The camera auto-saves the pictures to a _My pictures folder by default. I do not know how to change the directory of the takan photos. I've searched for some option to introduce a target path and i didn't find anything.

2- The templates in photo shooting have been deleted so when i scroll the type of photo or movie, when i scroll over the templates thing it gives me an error message. I thing that you should put some template or whatever so that people like me that don't know how to correct it shouldn't have this worry.

3- The worst error is the htc album that simply doesn't open itself, instead it opens a folder explorer with some squares on the title (???) and i'm supposed to select some folders....This error happens also when i simply open an image....instead of opening something to see the picture opens the folder selection with the squares... I really don't understand this

4- the writing now has 4 options of writing but when sending sms, only the keyboard like applet can appear and write! sometimes the htc applets open but they do not write anything.

5- a minor thing but annoying - the battery indicator turns DANGER RED around 45 or 40 %.

To some users i may sound arrogant but that's not what i meant to be...I just want to give a PDA starter opinion! Usually i can make this workarounds on pc's but i'm not familiar with pda's because i just bought mine 15 days ago. So, gullum, it would be extremely appreciated if you could post sollutions on my issues or email me.
Nevertheless, great effort, great work and really useful. But not flawless :P

Before with original O2 rom and WM5 itworked ...


Is there maybe a small setup i have forgotten ?

I have been using Coffie Rom NLD for months now, and want to try Gullums new Trottle diamond.

Two weeks ago my PC crashed, and lost all my data, including the coffie Rom. Now I dont have a back up any more. If I dont like the throttle Rom, I cannot go back to Coffie.

Can someone please help? Post a mirror or anything?

or you can just add this to one of the rgu files in OEM folder

if you have done the hard spl you only need to run the ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G3 or ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4 depending on you device

I recomand instaling some taskmanager like pbar or battery status
because the x and ok button only minimize the apps (by pressing and holding the Comm manager button you can close all runnng apps)
