Iphone theme for WM6 Calendar

Hi Folks,

I was searching (both here and the net) for an iphone skin that would work with the WM6 calendar. The closets one I could find (as far a just skinning goes) is OtO which is a great apps, but currently does not allow users to send meeting request using MS exchange.

Im not a developer so I have no idea if this is possible so hence this post, is this already been done? If not, would it be possible to do and if so, would anyone be up to the challenge?

Yes me too i am also very interested in thisone. Let's hope the guys from the new PointUI can arrange something. If you see what they already have done, I'm sure they must be able to do something for this in the future. Let's hope & pray!

I was looking for (if it exists) a skin (or separate apps) which mimicks the iphone calendar for WM6. It would be cool if the current OtO could be customized to select skin types (just like Tene's contact apps with Torx iphone skin). I would still need the ability to add attendees within my contacts or from my company exchange using activesync - but the skin would be a great start.

I am also very interested in an Iphone calendar lookalike for WM6.
I am fed up trying to use my ppc calendar without the styletus and with my big fingers...
The iphone calendar seems very user friendly.
I tried OTO but it is just made to insert a appointment (private, public not available), not to view the calendar etc...
Anyone is working on it ?

For at least a year I was searching around for some user-friendly and thumb-friendly calendar app, I got so frustrated and gave up. I was used to my old Nokia 6610i calendar before I had a PPC phone.

Finally, I found Agenda One which is brilliant!

Definitely give it a try. IMO it's actually better than the iPhone app. After watching that youtube video I couldn't believe how un-amazingly-intuitive it was to enter an appointment. Agenda One's much quicker.

Edit: oh, I should add, Agenda One is fully compatible with your PIM data - contacts, calendar appointments, tasks. It does the same job as the default WM ones. I sync the phone with outlook and it's great. I'm going to get an exchange service too and I'm sure it'll work with that.

Agenda One sure is a nice calendar but imho still not comparable to iphone calendar for easy input of appointment with just fingers :(

Would love to see someone developing something like iPhone calendar (imho, people are turning their HTCs into iPhones with all these mods and themes. Why not a cool calendar? ;))

Either way i agree, a new calendar for finger abiity is a defo need in my opinion! Just wish i could dev one lol!

Well, I'm just trying to help out but if you want to give it a try, Agenda One recently updated to enlarge the text size of editing/adding appointments, tasks etc.
They also added a few other things to make all editing finger-friendly (like input of numbers, there's a nice large dialpad now).

I found it ok anyway, I guess I've trained my fingers to do it (because I will NOT use the stylus for anything but resetting my hermes when it's crashed and poking people I don't like...)

However, it does look a little ugly with with the bigger edit text so you're right, something that is big enough for all thumbs which ALSO looks nice is needed.

there's a images folder inside the oto dir. You can edit those to skin it to look like the iphone...

Anyone actually downloaded the cab from oto? Whenever I download it says the file size is 0. I tried it anyways on the phone and install unsuccessful. I then tried the zip version and I get an error on pc saying corrupted and it won't extract.

I downloaded oto last week and it worked fine!

I've just tried to install it but it does not work. "installation Failed".
I've downloaded the cab from the site of Oto... and yhe zip files are empty...:confused:
