I have a Sprint Touch and it only has one hardware button that is customizable. I was hoping with HButton I would be able to map the Send and End key if I pressed and held these buttons to do different tasks.
Is this possible with this program? If not, is there a way to do it?

Ten minutes ago, I wouldn't have been able to answer this question, but having just read this post (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1783616#post1783616), I can safely say that this is the way to do it!!!
Hope it works for you :)

Read the Button Enhancer Bible, it explains everything, all the alternative apps etc: http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=The%20Button%20Enhancer%20Bible %20%26%20great%20button%20config%20tips%20for%20Op era%20Mobile%20%26%20Mini%20users

I read through it and I think I read that assigning the end and send key wasn't possible in most devices which doesn't make me happy.

I already have the HTC End Key App installed by default but it only has a few options. I don't see where you can edit the button to open a application.

Actually the "Bible" also mentions AE Button Plus. This will allow mapping of almost any key including a long/short press for both the send & end keys.
It's a retail proggy, don't remember the cost, but I have a fairly new Beta version if you want to give it a go & test it;) . PM me for details if you wish.

This is for a different phone and you may not have the same files/configs, but hell, might be worth a try.
