we cannot expect the cooks to put down the big work of preparing roms for all languages. They are allready doing an immense effort for this community with the PK ROMs. however, I guess what you need most of all is italian text input. I use PK 3.0 on my norwegian athena, so I have a similar situation. To change the keyboard settings to your own language you have to edit the registry.
this is the registry you are looking for is:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oem\Qwerty\]
"Layout"

in the norwegian wm6 the dword value is 20414, in the italian wm6 it will be a similar five digit number. right it down. flash PK 3.0. find [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Oem\Qwerty\]
"Layout" again, and change the dword value to the number you have written down.
