Request Fix for "Case Hang Up"

Have you ever answered a phone call on your Bluetooth headset only to be disconnected because the cell phone "hang up" button was accidentally pressed while in the case?

Typically, my cell phone is on "stand by" while in the case, so the display is off and the buttons are inactive. Optimally, I'd like to keep the phone in stand by until I tap the power button, but by default, it wakes up on an incoming call. If I'm walking around, it's all too frequent that my "hang up" button is engaged. Thus the dreaded "Case Hang Up".

Is there any way to keep the phone in stand by?

Any other suggestions to avoid this kind of problem?
