The Polaris comes with the HTC unique connector combining both USB and headphone sockets in one.
My problem is this: How can I slip the Polaris into an active mount (such as a Brodit) as well as connect to the car stereo using an audio lead?

From the Brodit web page about the active holder for the Touch Cruise:
The active holder charges your battery when it is in the holder. The charging device connects to the PDA automatically when you put the PDA in the holder. The holder is attached onto a tilt swivel and can be adjusted in order to avoid light reflection. Connects to the vehicle´s cigarette lighter socket, 12/24 Volt. Attach onto ProClip Mounting Platform.
So it seems that it is not possible to connect the device to audio while it is in the active holder.

The problem I see is that when you use a splitter (and I see that HTC themselves supply one: Y Cable (http://www.expansys.com/htc/p_htc_item.aspx?i=154767)) you need to connect the splitter into the bottom of the Polaris, but you can't then put the Polaris into the active holder.
The only solution I can see is to use a passive holder, but this then makes everything a bit of a fiddle.
Anyone got any other solutions?

Are there no Artemis users out there who have already solved this problem?
