Simply use the EXE file to update your prophet`s logos

Choose your pic then resize it to 240*320 pixels
save it as "PNG" image with the name (Welcomehead.96)
copy : (Welcomehead.96.png) to Windows folder in your PDA
select YES to replace the existing image...enjoy.:D ...Bye

Here is the old & the new dopod splashes while the original HTC logo

you can make your picture too. make it as png. an rename it as Welcomehead.96.png but you have to be sure about the size...

at the lastnikita thread says that we just wait the process done,but when i running the splasher.bat file, an nb image tool and splash.nb-2-nk.nbf windows ask me to load a picture and *.nb file.

everytime i reset my prophet,

my IPL/SPL, GSM are displayed... and
i always see that picture somewhat a clown and there is "Jester'sEdition"
as background...

can i change this picture or welcomescreeen?

The pictues that are displayed at startup, are in fact 3 different screens:
first splah, second splash (this is the one showing the systeminfo) and the welcomehead96 (this is the one with WindowsMobile logo, if not modified).

The first two can only be changed by using a RUU flash tool. The third one is changed by replacing the existing one in the Windowsfolder.

The way how to use the RUU splashscreen flasher can be found in the early posts.

sorry for the late reply levsy, I already did HardSPLed my device, at that time it shows my SPL is 2.G3.4PDA, but since I changed back to AKU ROM it always shows my SPL is 2.20.0000, can't change it since...
Another thing, now I have to JumpSPL my device to put in new ROMS, I did when I tried to change my Splash Screen too, but nothing works with my own nk.nbf, never mind it already now I using varanusvincent's WM6.1 Shadow 2.0 TE, and gf7800 Dopod 818Pro Splash Screen, it looks fine to me.
