Italian keyboard and xt9 on UK Cruise

How can I change both keyboad layout and xt9 from english (U.K. HTC Cruise) to italian, please?

If you can select Italian from the langage menu of the keyboard settings, it might just work.

However, I tried to get this to work in my german Kaiser and although I could select german, it did not work afterwards.

You would need a CAB for the keyboard extracted from a italian device. Then perhaps it will work.
