is not cooked and optimized rom.
Use this rom base of your cooked or for send your device on htc service

How did you backup your ROM ?! Mine is:

Version: 1.11.408.1B ITA
Date: 05/24/07
Radio: 02.93.90
Protocol: 4.1.13.42
ExtROM 1.11.408.8000

It's slightly different from yours. Maybe someone need this too, I can do a backup if someone told me how to...

i just flash it and works fine.
my original rom was:

Versione rom: 1.11.408.1b.ita
data rom 05/24/07
versione radio 02.93.90
versione prodotto 4.1.13.42
versione external rom 1.11.4.8.101

everything look the same except letter of the rom version that is g in stand of b.
but i also noticed that my original rom use to have the touch cube with blue background color and this new one is green..
so i am asking what the g and b means?
maibe the "b" is for blue and the "g" for green? or what else?
for you knowledge mai i use this rom for sending my touch to service? or i have to find the "Versione rom: 1.11.408.1b.ita"?

L'ho usata circa 3 mesi fa per rimandare il palmare in assistenza. Aveva il display difettoso, non so se hanno controllato il software...comunque me l'hanno riparato in garanzia senza problemi ;)

a parte che è stato un casino scaricarla dal link, i simboli con i gattini, pittoresco, comunque ho la rom, come faccio a usarla?

1 copio solo ROMUpdateUtility.exe nella cartella della rom?
2 devo riavviare il cellu in bootloader mode Reset + Camera button?
3 c'è una procedura best practice?

1) Prendi un tool di update, ad esempio quello della C66 (l'intera cartella, non solo il ROMUpdateUtility.exe) e sostituisci solo il RUU_signed.nbh con quello della Rom originale.
2) Io ho provato a flashare sia in bootloader mode che direttamente. In quest'ultimo caso il pda si posiziona comunque in bootloader mode prima di cominciare il caricamento, quindi tanto vale che lo metti già tu in modalità bootloader.
3) Nessuna in particolare, le solite precauzioni: controllare che la batteria del pda sia carica, non lanciare applicazioni sul Pc mentre si flasha, disattivare antivirus e firewall, rimuovere sim e microSd.

But when flashing process must start I receive this error:

Error[270]: Update Error
The image file is corrupted. Please check your update utility.

What can I do?
