hi mates, i am using Universal (O2 XDA EXEC) for the last 13 months. I am usin' it with the original ROM, which i got with the device, at the time of purchase. It's about the battery, the normal battery backup is good. However, everytime when my battery goes down to 20%, the device turns off. It doesn't power on without the AC power. It happens everyime at 20%.

So, before goin' in for a new battery, i just wanted to make sure that there is nothin' else, which could be wrong.

Is there anything else, which i should check ?

first of all, i think this is the wrong place to post such a question. bring the phone back and let them repair it (warranty)!!!

my o2 xda IIs shuts off at 80% about 2 months ago and that was fine, figuring that it just happens when i keep wlan turned on. lately, at 90% it shuts off. i know its the battery causing this. this phone has been about almost 2years old and i know the battery just needs replacement. i'm thinking of buying one soon.

Yeah, I got O2 XDA IIS. the phone shut down at 40% battery, and there was once it shut down at 60% while WLAN was on (this only happened once - other occassion was ok). I have had my phone for about 2.5 years. I believe this is battery issue...
