Project for PointUI: PocketCM

Guys guys!

I posted this at PointUI forum aswell!
Listen up, is there anyone here that knows how to skin PocketCM?

It will be great, and i think a good idea, if we can try and design a PocketCM skin to fit PointUI?
Blue with white stuff in it??

I saw that PocketCM is quite skinnable.

What do you guys think? That way we can integrate PocketCM to fit PointUI?

I think it will be great! Any toughts?

It doesnt really matter....
Let PointUI scroll as it is. And Pocket CM as it is.
If someone can just skin it, to get it to fit with PointUI, it will look great......
And as we all know, pocket CM is great, it will be a nice compliment for each other......

- Grab an already excisting skin
- Change the extension .cmt to .zip and unzip it with winrar or something
- Change the background with this background: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=355766
- Change the colours of every .png to a colour you want with photoshop or someting (in photoshop use ctr+u)
- zip it and change it to .cmt again

It need some explaining:

- Extra large contact, with large pictures
- Removed the "filter" button, I never use it.. (it is still there in the settings.ini)

Still to do:
- Adjust some of the colors like, highlight buttons, grey bar at the top, grey highlight of the letters at the side...

Please give me comments...

I'm thinking about making a skin like the phone-log in PointUI, but I'm not sure it is possible in PocketCM to create a "always on top" image at the top of the screen...

Do any of you know if it is possible to change the color of the selection?

Now PocketCM uses inverted colors, but it is ugly!
(Blue buttons at the bottom turn yellow if pressed)

I really like the concept. Recently fell in love with PointUI, and have been a big fan of PocketCM. My PocketCM started acting up after changing to this theme though. Soft reset my device, and still the same issue. Looks really good tho!

My theme works without problems on v0.18, but can give some problems on 0.16 or 0.17...

I thought it was working automaticly on VGA screens with 0.18...:confused:

It is hard for me to adjust a theme for VGA, because I don't have a VGA device...

Would you consider adding an alternative skin with the "filter" button. I use it all the time?

It is pretty easy to do yourself:

- open the zip file
- edit the settings.ini file (notepad)
- search for the part with the 0-33 33-66 and 66-100%
- the filter-icon is still there, I think i gave it 100-100% or something
- change it so it is 0-25 25-50 50-75 75-100

Have to admit, first thing I did was put the filter button back, which is a shame as the buttons background is wrong then and it ruins the skin.

Contact notes are visible while using the PointUI theme in this thread. It only shows white. Anyone else have this issue?

I did some tweaking

- changed some colors'
- bigger contacs (and contact pictures)
- changed from 4 buttons to 2 buttons (I only switch between contacts and smscontacts anyway)

Thanks a million. Change worked first time. What is the section that deals with send/receive background colors in the sms? I would like to change back ground to a different color for sent vs. send, and for call log. Also, what is the section for the alphabet letter search. I would like to length then the bar for letter search to full width and center the alphabet character.
