I tried to update a (friends) QTEK S200 with this ROM as well.
Unfortunately I got stuck at the tri-color screen as well...
I used the G4-update tool (Just tried the G3-tool... it says it is too old :P)
It gives 2 codes on the tri-color screen:
- IPL 2.10.0001
- SPL 2.20.0001

Any1 knows what to do with it? Phone is useless now :D

why not remove a battery +usb cable
hold the camera + soft reset = tri colour,
connect again usb and click ROMUpdateUtility_NV_G4.exe

By the way, the phone pad is really ugly...

I've noticed one thing, my WIFI holds connection for one action, then it seems like still connected, but regardless what I do next I receive a resopnse that no active Internet connection detected. Any ideas? I've searched and found no previous issues related.

The WPA2-defect is widely reported in various threads. If you realy want to know the pro's and cons of certain builds, I'll advice to read a bit more and write a bit less.

You really made a unfriendly remark, without any investigation whatsoever. Besides that, I think it would suits you a lotter better to be a little less demanding. It is all hobby, what goes on here. If you feel the results should be different in some way, go ahead cook your own ROM and share it with the community.

This rom is great, but i've found a litle bug.
When i receive an SMS, the yellow led starts blinking, but after i read the message and there are no new message or calls the led continues blinking. There are no notifications also... :s

*can't close running application by ok buttoms, its just minimize,
*s2u2 0.96 didn't close ppc properly , i mean if we have installed ShadoW_Cub and even if lock mood if we scroll from top to down it did open ShadoW Cube and start to work normal ppc.

it might be the reason of both bug coz of WkTASK 1.1.7.3b, i think but not sure.

can u pass me the tweak of battery icon display on lower corner of taskbar.

sound pretty cool so we will gonna have Vista Ultimate.

i also have some trouble with selecting title menus like ( start --> setting --> personal/system/connection) by crosser keys

i can select inside applications but not main title bar, but i use one time with lcd by tocuh the everything ok , i don't know if its just normal or B!!G

by the way , when u will realesed Vista Ultimate?

Max.. I just edited your SHADOW VISTA EDITION ROM. Everythings is the same one. But I use another clock color and Audio Manager fixed from Cloudyfa. Just added welcomescreen. So it should be like this

With this ROM , I got a Storage Memory for 56,66 MB and 27 MB for Program Memory. Sound good for me.

How to make ROM faster without Overclock..Then you should try this reg setting

Increase Font Cache
HKLM/System/GDI/GLYPHCACHE/limit: 8192 => 16384 ( if you want, you can try 32768 or 65536 )

Increase File System Cache
HKLM\System\StorageManager\FATFS/CacheSize: 0 => 4096

Increase File System Filter Cache
HKLM/System/StorageManager/filters/fsreplxfilt\ReplStoreCacheSize: 0 => 4096

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

And feel the difference...Works too for Vista EDITION from Maxsniper.( actually for every ROM)

but you need to edit the Clock Color too...

So. It would be the same.( optic )

Ok....I now realise I have to use the new spl refresh process for activation of the newer roms.
Am I right in assuming that once I complete the SPL reset thing, I can simply use the NV update to process the downloaded rom ?

nop, you have to use all the time you flash or you install a real hard SPL.
