Hello everybody, today I updated my HTC620 with the official WM6 upgrade from the HTC site. I am wondering why the hell???
The first thing were the mixed contacts from SIM card, phone and MSN. I solved it with deleting everything from the SIM card (what a solution!).
What really bothers me is the bug, that does not allow me to call my mother:
I have her number listed as "mama" and when I go to contacts and start typing "m", it shows me all the contacts, that have "m" in the beginning of either name or surname. Then I press "a" and it does not narrow the search to the contacts, that have "ma" in the beginning, but instead, the S620 understands this as "#" and does whatever it does. After pressing "m" again, I see all the contacts, that have "m" in the beginning and so on.
so after pressing "mama" it is searching "m#m#m#" and it shows me all the contacts that include "m".
My investigation shows, that this happens with all the contacts, which have the same letters before and after the second letter "a", i.e. for example:
"mam..."
"tat..."
"nan...."
Can anyone please confirm this?
Is there any fix for this?
Thanks,
Gastan
