Hello,
I was able to mess with a Sprint Vogue last night and I'm now sweating it greatly.
I have T-Mobile (US) service, and recently purchased the s730 (http://www.pdadb.net/index.php?m=specs&id=728), and like it much. However, I'd like to switch to Verizon eventually (for the data speed) and am wondering if anyone knows of a vendor where I can purchase the HTC Vogue with the HTC rom? I can't seem to find any, only AllTel/Sprint, Telus/Bell.
Also, does anyone know of any plans for a newer version with a sliding keyboard (full qwerty)? That would be king.
Thanks,
Matt

Is does look faster (http://www.dslreports.com/archive?f=g&dnsdom=myvzw.com&dnsdom1=spcsdns.net&domsum=Graph+it). But I'm so loyal to VZW. How's sprint coverage?

dont get me started on verizon.. yalls plans are waaaaay too expensive.. not to mention how you have to spend around 60 dollars just to get unlimited text messaging, which is only 10 dollars by the way for sprint.. yeah sprints network is a lot faster AND cheaper, not to mention how our nights and weekends start at 7. the coverage is great as well, especially since we can roam for free.. the sad part is sprint is upgrading the touch to rev a soon, which makes verizon look even worse.. good luck competing with that

Verizon will have the XV6800 Rev A update about the same time as sprint. VZW is also fixing to release the XV6900(aka Vogue) which will also be upgradeable to Rev A. As far as the service differences it all depends on where you live. The network is the same... Just depends on how many people are using the same type of service and if the towers can handle the load...

I was a long time Verizon user (8 years) and recently switched to Sprint because I couldn't take the huge bills I received every month. I have fewer dropped calls, data appears 2-3X as fast and with the new Rev A upgrade coming to Sprint for my Touch it will be even faster. Lastly for 4 phones I am paying $100 less per month:) PS I am in the DC Area.

i went in to get my first PDA phone, verizon plan was $120 a month for what i wanted, and the sprint plan was $30, (with discounts from my office and such) my bill is down to $21 a month for....
500 minutes
N/W at 7
Free UNLIMITED incoming calls
unlimited text messaging
unlimited data/web
TEP (full phone insurance)
and sprint touch, which has faster speeds than VZW. In my house i get 3 bars on both VZW and Sprint, on vzw i got around 400 kbps download, on sprint in the same spot i get around 1 mbps. SO its obvious for me sprint.Their coverage has improved a lot, and they will be almost = to vzw in end of 2008. Finally on sprint you can roam onto any CDMA carrier including verizon for free. So if you are traveling, you can just roam on vzw if you dont get sprint coverage (as well as alltel, metro pcs...).... (you also get 30 day trial of service so... yeah!

The touch with SERO plan is the Sh!t! Have it right now with my touch and love everything about it and for only $30 a month it damn well worth it. :D
