Destinator works ???

Hi all and happy new year :)
i have installed many times destinator 7 (2-3 different versions) and it worls for 1-2 times and then it stops in the first screen where the arrows loading and it returns me to the today.
i made a hard reset, it worked 1 time and again the problem is shown.

does anyone has managed to make any version of destinator to work (either 6 or 7) ???
does anyone have the same problem with me???
if anyone has a link with a version of destinator greek that works with htc touch cruise i 'd be happy.

2) egw ekana hard reset kai meta ekana restore tis epafes mou m ta sms kai ta rantevou me to pimbackup. me to pou ekana sundesi me to activesync kati ginotan kai apo tote kollouse to destinator.

kati apo ta 2 eftege alla sigouros den eimai.

εκανα ενα hard reset και μετα :

1) εκανα restore τις επαφες στη συσκευη με το pimbackup.
2) εκανα uninstall του activesync Που ειχα μιας και εκει ειχα συνδεσει το tytn, το touch, το p3300 και το cruise (αν δεν εχεις συνδεσει αλλη συσκευη στο ιδιο pc με το ιδιο activesync μπορεις να μην το κανεις αυτο και το παρακατω νημα 4).

3) εκανα εγκατασταση το activesync απο το cd του cruise
4) αλλαξα ονομα στο cruise Μου, εβαλα σαν ονομα τυπικα το TEST και εκανα pairing στο activesync.
5) ανοιξα το outlook και διεγραψα οτιδηποτε υπηρχε εκει απο επαφες και ραντεβου.
6) συγχρονισα το cruise με το outlook (επαφες και appointments μονο) ωστε να αντιγραφουν απο τη συσκευη στο outlook.
7) διορθωσα ολες τις επαφες μου στο outlook ωστε να μην εχει καμια επαφη τιποτα στο πεδιο "διευθυνση" οπου εκει ειχα περασει σε καποιους την διευθυνση τους στα ελληνικα, και επισης εσβησα οτι ηπηρχε στα πεδια "σημειωσεις-παρατηρησεις" και "επαγγελμα" μιας και εκει ειχα παλι σε καποιους πληροφοριες στα ελληνικα.
8) διεγραψα ολες τις επαφες και ραντεβου απο το cruise.
9) εκανα hard reset.
10) εδωσα στο cruise το ιδιο ονομα που ειχα και πριν (MYCRUISE), το συνδεσα με τον υπολογιστη, εκανα το pairing και δεν εκανα συγχρονισμο ουτε επαφων ουτε ραντεβου ουτε τιποτα (δεν τσεκαρα τιποτα να κανει συγχρονισμο).
11) εβαλα το destinator Σε ενα φακελλο στην καρτα για να το εχω σαν αντιγραφο (\storage card\programs\install\destinator....). εβαλα μια εκδοση του destinator 7.0.0.588.11 που παιζει με copy στην καρτα.
12) αντιγραψα το destinator αυτο μεσα στον φακελλο \storage card\DESTINATOR\ και κρατησα και το αντιγραφο στον αλλο φακελλο για να το εχω ανεπαφο.
13) εκανα ενα update το quickgps και ετρεξα το destinator.ολα καλα.ετρεξε κανονικα.αλλωστε η συσκευη δεν ειχε τιποτα μεσα.την ανοιξα και την εκλεισα πολλες φορες (κοντα 10) και την αφησα να δουλεψει και αρκετα μεσα στο σπιτι.
14) ξανασυνδεσα μετα απο κανενα 2ωρο τη συσκευη στο activesync και του εβαλα να συγχρονισει επαφες και ραντεβου και να τα περασει απο το outlook στη συσκευη (εκει που λεει "when therre is a conflict επιλεγεις replace in device).ο συγχρονισμος εγινε κανονικα.
15) βγηκα βολτα με το αμαξι και το ειχα ανοιχτο συνεχεια και δουλευε κανονικα.δεν εβαλα να κανω καμια δρομολογηση-πλοηγηση απλα το ειχα και εβλεπα την κινηση του αυτοκινητου στο χαρτη.
16) το εκανα συνεχεια αυτο για 2 μερες.το ανοιγα συνεχωςκ αι το ειχα πολυ ωρα ανοιχτο.δοκιμασα και πλοηγηση.το εβαλα να κανει και επαναυπολογισμο διαδρομης και δουλευε μια χαρα.μεχρι αυτη τη στιγμη δουλευει κανονικα οσες φορες και να το εχω ανοιξει και οτι και αν εχω δοκιμασει.

αυτα.πιστευω να βοηθησα,δοκιμασε να κανεις το ιδιο και πες μου.
αν δεν θες να κανεις ολα τα παραπανω νομιζω οτι το σημαντικο κομματι απο τα παραπανω ειναι να κανεις ενα hard reset το cruise και μετα πριν βαλεις και τρεξεις το destinator συνδεσε τη συσκευη με το activesync, κανε μονο συγχρονισμο χωρις να επιλεξεις να κανει τιποτα, ουτε επαφες ουτε τιποτα.
μην εγκαταστησεις καμια εφαρμογη.ασε τη συσκευη οπως ειναι.
ανοιξε μονο το quickgps και κανε μια ανανεωση για να μπορει να σου βρει γρηγορα δορυφορους.
μετα βαλε το destinator στη συσκευη και ανοιξε το.
δουλεψε το 1-2 ωρες ανοιγωντας το και κλεινωντας το και αφηνε το να δουλευει για αρκετη ωρα.
μετα συνδεσε το στο activesync κανε συγχρονισμο επαφες , ραντεβου και οτι αλλο θελεις και δοκιμασε να τρεξεις παλι το destinator.αν τρεχει κανονικα τοτε αστο ετσι 1-2 μερες και μετα αν ολα ειναι καλα ξεκινα να περνας μια μια τις εφαρμογες που θελεις.

Εχω ακριβώς το ίδιο πρόβλημα και δοκιμασα και hard reset αλλα τζιφος. Δεν μπορώ να καταλάβω τι φταίει. Τωρα διάβασα τη λύση που προτείνετε αλλα δεν αντεχω αλλο hard reset και φτου απο την αρχη ολες οι εγκαταστάσεις...:(
Αν καποιος εντοπισει την πηγη του προβλήματος ας μου πει τον παρακαλώ... Εχω την αγγλική ROM και το Activesync των Vista.

was this problem resolved? I am also facing same problem here. Using a Wizard and tried all combinations between WM 5/6 and Destinator 6/7.

Well since you are from the US, i doubt you should be having any problem. What we found is that when you have address at your contacts and its in your native language ( which is english in yours ) so you shouldnt be having it, destinator tries to read the address and thats why its not working. My contacts are written down on english and my device is english as well, and it works just fine.

1) make a synchronisation of your phone with your pc with activesync (contacts + appointments only)
2) delete all contacts from your phone
3) open your outlook in your computer and try to edit your contacts and delete in all contacts everything that you have written in the tab "address" and "occupation".
4) open your activesync in your computer and delete the partnership of your phone with your pc (you must choose your phone in the FILE --> MOBILE DEVICE and then go in FILE --> DELETE MOBILE DEVICE
5) make a hard reset of your phone
6) connect the phone to your computer and the activesync will open automatically. make a new pairing of your phone with your computer but DON'T choose to syncronise ANYTHING (NEITHER contacts NEITHER appointments).all must be unchecked.
7) when you finish with your pairing and your activesync writes there "connected", then copy the destinator in your Storage card of your phone.
DON'T install any applications in your phone
8) open quickgps in your phone (phone connected with activesync and internet connection of course) and make an update of quickgps
9) dosconnect your phone from your computer
10 run destinator and leave it in an open area to find your point and to work for 5-10 minutes.
11) close and open destinator 5-6 times leaving it to work 4-5 minutes for each time
12) if everything works fine and destinator works, then connect your device with computer and go to the options and check to synchronise contacts and appointments. be carefull there to choose when there is a conflict, replace on device so as to copy contacts and appointments from your outlook to your phone.
13) disconnect your phone when synchronisation finish
14) open destinator and check that works.
15) if it works fine then leave 1 day at least to test that works and try to open and close it as many time as you can.
16) if everything is fine then you can start installing your applications that you want in your phone.

try all these and comment back here if something goes wrong or everything went fine :)

I have the same problem with destinator (it crashes on htc touch). A solution that I found untill we locate the source of the problem is to disable the phone function of the device. This will make the program work ok. :)

Just delete ALL your sms/mms messages! It worked for me! Take a backup first if you are not sure... Strange but this is the problem:D:eek:
