Hey dudes,

I created a new iphone like theme for PocketCM 0.25 (V3.6), PocketCM 0.27 (V4.0)
and the brandnew PocketCM 0.29
iOlio v4.2
(You will find the download link in second post)


It was merged from the best of many existing iphone-ish themes like the ones
from Torx Development, DvTonder with help from Anja 31, Lightbiter and Extraducksauce.
I indeed like these themes a lot - but for my taste there was space for some
improvements in colors and icons to match my former iOlio themes.
Many people out there asked me to convert my theme to recent PocketCM version
and so I decided to give it a try! This is the result and I hope you like it

IMPORTANT: Install instructions:
1. Download and copy iOlio_v4.2.zip to your local PocketCM Folder.
Don't unzip it, use it as is. Change theme by long press phone button
2. Download, unzip and copy the german.lang file (if needed) to your local PocketCM Folder
3. Start PocketCM, step to settings and change theme
4. Quit and restart PocketCM with new theme
4. Step to settings and change language (no need do to this for WWE)

I'm trying to make a change to the "All Contact" listing though, and no matter what I do it wont change. Instead of listing like:

Lastname, Firstname
(123) 456 - 7890

I''d like it to be:

Firstname Lastname
Company


I made the following changes in settings.ini, but it didn't do anything:


#contactlist name and phone number listing
contactlist.*.item.firstline.format=%firstname %lastname
contactlist.*.item.secondline.format=%company

Also, is there a way to get the "Contact With SMS" panel to be formatted with info like SMS-Chat's "Chat" panel?

Mainly, I like the way it's got the name on the first line, followed by the number of unread messages, then the preview of the last message on the second line. and the date and read/unread icon on the right.

One more thing, this screenshot isn't your skin (it's the EDS iphone theme) but notice how the green sms icons on the right are all crazy and not lined up? The icons you used (the envelope) are doing the same thingI am using a Daxian x999+ and WM6.

Seems correct. Are you sure you saved your contacts in the
right manner? e.g. Firstname: Olio - Lastname: Aglio
and not Firstname: Olio Aglio - Lastname: <nothing>
or vice versa. This would both result in displaying:
"Olio Aglio", no matter which setting you use.

Some types of numbers are not defined in ini file? Numbers are in grey line, not in white and not with icon. Bussines 2, Car, Firma.... Is it possible repair missing outlook fields in ini file?

Downloaded and installed this theme on my HTC Touch.. Looks great.. But takes time to load.. But overall good theme..

But I am having problem with some of the text overlapping with something.. like the time on topbar is getting overlapped with an icon when I use contacts with SMS..

but i do have a question. in your screenshot there is the Call and Hangup buttons visible. How do i use this? when i choose a contact to call i only get the phone keys to dial a number. the green and red buttons below are not shown on my phone.
Is there a simple sollution for this?

You are right, the call and hangup pics are missing in the latest 3.6
I will have another look at it and correct it with next version. Also
adding the battery icon from bluemetalaxe. screenshots are from 3.0

iOlio 4.0 is finished and will be uploaded todays evening or at least
tomorrow morning. Hope you will like it. Most of bugs should be cleaned
now and it is just about 153k in size compared to 292k of the v3.6 :D

New 0.27 German translation also finished now...

iOlio v0.28 turned out to be compatible to tene's latest PocketCM 0.28 version. Though no 0.28 introduced features implemented yet to the theme.
The deletion bug introduced in 0.27 (some deletion functions like the failing SMS dialogue deletion) seem to be fixed again in 0.28 finally.

I really do like the sms chat feature especially with this iphone theme, very impressive and the chat bubbles are nice. I wish there was a stand alone app to reproduce.

To answer your question and don't get me wrong, I really want pocketcm on my phone, Tene is doing great work with all his apps. But I've gone thru many installing/uninstalling b/c the app just kept crashing. I believe the it's simplicity and loading time of icontact which makes it so desirable with some beginners, including myself. But I will keep my eyes out.

For the white bubbles, there's a gray-ish box that contains all of the text. Is there a font file I need to add as well? What could be causing this problem?

hmm, works perfect on my polaris.
what install version of pcm 0.28 did you use? the cab version of 0.28 is faulty (already confirmed by tene)i used the zip update which worked fine. the other reason could be a faulty cache of the old version. please delete your _cache directory on your memory card and report.

1. I do not deal that much with the SMS function, so could you post
a screenshot of that? However, it seems more like a functionality
problem of PCM itself.

2. This function is not intended to hide the phone numbers in the list,
but to show contacts in the contacts list, which do NOT have any
phone numbers at all, e.g. your grandma has only postal address,
but no phone. She would be visible in the list, when button is checked
or not, if button is unchecked.

3. Yes, I know, this has to be corrected, but it is a minor cosmetic problem

4. Again, for this problem I would need a screenshot to be able examine.

Hi, I'm using your theme on my HTC Titan and I must say... I love the look of it. I have been having some issues, but most I attribute to the program itself because they happen on the default themes. But the main issue I have experienced using this theme that didn't happen with the default is that the program will popup whenever i slide out my keyboard. I tried playing with the settings, turning off the popup when new SMS option... Nothing worked. It got so annoying that I had to remove it, because whenever I'd try to slide to type in a web address, or to rotate my screen, the contact manager would popup. Any way to fix this?

EDIT: It's started to do the same thing on the default themes so it must not be yours. My apologies.

I've also experienced the same problems with disappearing and overlapping text shown in a previous post. Also sometimes when switching to landscape mode, the bottom bar spreads and the space between the buttons (which is usually black) is transparent.

Also a very small suggestion for the future, could you add a bubble or tab or something visible to use when scrolling through letters in the full contact list? I didn't even know it was there at first until I watched my friend do it on his Instinct and I tried it haha...

I hope the issues get sorted out soon because this is a very good looking skin for a useful program!
