gmail on Touch Dual

Dear Forum,

I cant access to gmail on http://googelmail.com/app.

The error: gmail.jad?make=Windows%20Mobilemodel=devicever=v1. 1.1 can`t installed.

A installation of the intent MIDlet Manager JTWI 1.0 dont resolve the problem.
(Risidoro_Intent_MIDlet_Manager_11.1.7.1023)

What can i do ?

Use embedded WM6 mail client. It work with gmail very nice.

SAme for me, just installet it (v1.5 BTW) and works, no problem at all

crap, installed the gmail app ok on my touch dual, but when i run it it says i don't have the appropriate certificate to run it :( (and I downloaded the verisign root cert already...)

For ppl that did not know of this feature:
Starting a few months ago Gmail even supports IMAP which is working great!
While creating an account choose IMAP and configure the imap.gmail.com server.

Thanks alot! The Gmail client didn't work on my Touch so I had been using the web interface. This is soooo much better!

No problem friend. This feature is available for only 2 months or so. So I guess not everyone knows yet.
Besides, IMAP is great for everyone, SO much better than damn simple POP3.
(also for non-gmail users, if your server supports it....USE IT..)
