I have a problem w/ my HTC Touch Home (on the mogul) where it takes forever to load up when I boot up the phone (soft reset, etc.). The bottom portion of the Today screen is fine, but when the clock/6tabs portion of the Touch interface is suppose to load it just freezes and lags. After about 10-15 mins, it eventually loads up, and the funny thing is, everything is fine after that.

After a few hours of trial/error, I found that the culprit seems to be the "appointments" data I have (from outlook?). If I delete these, everything is fine.

So my question is, I could just delete my appointments every so often, but I have had my mogul for only a few months and I would think that a device like this would be able to hold more than just a few appointments before it slowed down, so I'm suspecting it's some inefficiency in the way it's booting up (maybe it's going through each one and checking something?).

In any case, I was wondering if anyone knew what was going on (and hopefully, if there's a fix for this). For now, I'm going to delete the appointments, but that seems like a really lame fix.

The HTC Home caused massive battery drain for me. I would go from 100 down to 40/50 after 6 hours with it, Data connection off and manual weather update.

I removed HTC home from my today screen and I would go from 100 down to 90 /80 after 6 hours.

tested about 3 times before I got done with HTC Home.

Yes it seem that my battery for my Sprint Mogul is going down fast with HTC Home.
