Back to the stock SPL? The only thing I can think off and it MAY NOT WORK OR BRICK YOUR DEVICE because I haven't tested it is using USPL to flash the stock RUU and hopefully that will overwrite the SPL.

Except that the HardSPL is coded not to let another SPL overwrite it. Using USPL should overwrite this lock.

Yes. That will let you use any ROM, but if he wanted to go back to the stock SPL for warranty reasons, that would be the way to go, I would hope.

i found a eaiser way and u dont need a uspl all u need to do is get the stock ruu and run it. your phone is going to restart...simply put it back into bootloader mode without taking off the usb and your done!!!!!

This will not overwrite HardSPL.

I don't understand. You HAD the HARDSpl installed in your phone? You ran the stock RUU and it automatically wrote the HardSPL even though the HardSPL was purposely coded not to allow that?

i tried it again and i missed a step (my bad)
here are the steps that worked for me......

step 1 :run the uspl (in the botton link of these steps) but in step 3 of the uspl program the ruu isnt going to work..

step 2 : put ur phone in bootloader run the stock ruu and at 1% the phone is going to restart and get out of bootloader..

step 3:simply put it back into bootloader (without disconnecting it to your computer) and let the stock ruu run...after go thru the steps...the align the screen put a pasword ect.. let it update the windows (if u dont want it to update then just soft reset the phone before it starts) and then your done.

verified: wing can go from hard-spl to stock spl via uspl

1. download uspl aka flash center and wing factory ruu

2. copy RUU_signed.nbh and SPL.nbh from wing factory ruu to flash center

3. run it

completed successfuly with no intervention, didnt have to put in boot loader

after flashing i checked (soft reset while holding camera button)
spl was 4.10.0000

Remove the SPL file of a stock RUU before flashing.
What you can do is, if you can load into windows:
Run USPL first and then flash the device with your stock RUU. If you can't load windows, do what I said about removing the SPL file.

No SPL.nbh but is there a spl.nb within the signed.nbh? When you recreate the spl-less nbh, make sure you set it to HERA**** and not HERA100 or whatnot.
I believe that's the HardSPL identifier.

There isn't both spl.nbh and spl.nb only the HeraldIMG_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.7.707.3_02.69.90_SHIP_R. nbh.
How do i set the spl-less nbh to be HERA****?

I get it now..Using nbh tool.
HeraldIMG_DOPODASIA_WWE_1.7.707.3_02.69.90_SHIP_R. nbh contains
no spl.nb file. The only nb file that I dont know is 514.nb. i am guessing that it's the second splash. When I recreate the the nbh using nbh tool and setting the device to "Hera****" the RUU returns file is corrupted error..
Should I try something else?

Try setting it up with only the "windows.nb". There shouldn't be a second splash on these devices.

Extracted nbh, then generated new nbh with only windows.nb setting the device id to "Hera****"
Now, it's showing Error 270 The image file is corrupted like the cooked rom tried earlier.

What size is the windows.nb? Because if you're getting that and you're sure you're setting it to "Herald" and the windows.nb is less than 51.2mb, I want a copy of that WHOLE RUU, EVERY file!!

That's strange... Can you give me a screenshot of the HTC ROM Tool when you're making the nbh? Just want to look at your settings.

Try redownloading the RUU flasher. (The software that flashes for you) because it might be corrupted. Also try making the version something other than 1.0.0.0. I find that gives me problems sometimes, too.

Still didn't work.
If I take my unit to the service center, will they be able to do it?

Dunno. I've never used them. Are you able to boot into windows mobile? If you can, try USPL.

Just to recap the whole thing for you again..
Original ROM then I did the following:
1) Hard SPL (Successful)
2) Up cooked ROM (Successful)
3) Tried to goback to USPL with Flash_Center.rar
4) Stuff with bootloader
5) Tried to goback to original ROM with no spl.nb (514.nb)
6) Tried with only windows.nb
What do you think I should do now?

Hate to say this... but your SPL might have been fried... is it possible to flash the HardSPL from the Bootscreen since the device is already hardspled?

No. Flashing with HardSpl_WM6.rar returns file is corrupted..
Here is more info for you.
Attempt to flash with any cooked rom returns file is corrupted.
other attempt to flash with stock rom returns flash write error.
other attempts to flash with sotck rom of HTC/T-Mobile ROM returns invalid model/vendor error..
If the spl is fried, is the phone still fix-able.
