Hi,

I recently bought a Spectec SDW-822 mini SD WLAN-11b, and when trying to install the driver/software to my Treo 750 thru the Active Sync I pressed YES to install the software on my Treo, but the progress bar of the installation got "stuck" on the last bar and the installation never finishes, I waited for about 45 min, then I wanted to cancel the operation but nothing happened. So I try removing the battery and the putting it back on, but after turning on the treo, the same installation of the CAB file starts and gets "stuck" or stops at the last bar of the progress bar.

I need help please. What can I do to cancel the installation operation? I don't want to do a Complete Reset, I have a lot of data inside, and ActiveSync is not working, I believe because of the same issue.

I appreciate all the help you can give me.

Yes, you will need to perform the Hard Reset and then everything will go back to normal, and if you want to install later the Spectec card, don't use the driver supplied in the CD, download the driver from the site: spectec.com.tw/Download.htm and get the driver named for "SDW-820/822 driver for Smart Phone" that worked for me and now it's working perfectly.

May I ask yo if you have installed only the drive?
No other software?

Yes, only the drive will work.

Sorry, I don't understand: Have I to use this driver if my Treo 750 is in WM6?
I saw in Spectec download site there is the driver for WM6....

My Treo had the 5.X windows version, so I dowloaded the other version.

I have treo750 dat i just upgraded to wm6 (hahahaha upgrade and windows in da same line) and before downloading the wm6 driver i just tryed the wm5 driver dat came on a cd with my spectec card (the one without the tool) and it works fine, i had to do a hard reset but after i did card worked and poped up "unencripted network (dlink) connert?" :D love people who shair.
