Hey all,

Well, I've been playing around with this for a few hours now, and the prospect looks pretty good. I haven't touched QT since I was about 16, but I seem to still remember a little :). I'm sure you've seen the videos of pictureflow running on the the HTC touch, well, now it's your chance to test it out on your own device!
It runs perfectly smooth on my Wizard, but I haven't been able to test it out very extensively.

It has been compiled with the re-worked version that Jesper did for the chumby, which adds simple mouse support, and fullscreen ability. Link:http://ariya.blogspot.com/search/label/pictureflow

Things you should know:
This demo will load up any image files that are in the same directory as the exe.

Supported image formats:JPEG, PNG, BMP, XBM, XPM and PNM

I think that's pretty much it, I'll be looking at optimizing things, and researching the dropping of some of those dll files. Otherwise, our rom cookers will have to weave them in there somehow.

Looking forward to hearing about how it runs. :).

PS.

No windows mobile 2003 support.

Thanks to alipendier for working with me online to make sure of proper WM5 support.

Updates::

Version 0.6 [1/21/08]:

Ok the long awaited 0.6 Release. Basically, there is only one bad thing about this release (for me at least), and I'm going to say it now. Please don't complain about this, I know it's a prob. Fullscreen images look like crap! It's a small problem, and will be fixed, possibly with a hotfix soon. Why? In an effort to make Everything as efficient as possible, I asked myself? Why load full sized images in the PictureFlow ribbon? So on load, I get the thumbnail versions of each picture, and load those instead. The result is, A MUCH MUCH MUCH faster loading time on my wizard! It was really noticeable for me, and I hope the same for everyone else.

Re-Added support for all the other picture formats that your device reads natively.

I'd also like to extend a HUGE thank you to A_C for sending me a PM alerting me to the Imaging API for our windows mobile devices. Imgdecmp, truly pales in comparison. I threw the funkiest pictures at PictureFlow, and they all load up BEAUTIFULLY, and quickly. I'm talking 50+ images, of all different formats, and even a few 1mb+ images in the mix up. And this is all from the storage card.

If PictureFlow doesn't like an image (for some strange reason) it shouldn't reload the last picture it loaded over and over again. This release is the biggest step towards efficiency, I really hope that everyone else experiences what I have experienced on my Wizard.

Oh, and I've erased the download links for all the previous versions, except 0.5. This version should work for both WM5/6 users.

Enjoy this one guys.

Version 0.7 01/24/08: (Hot Fix For 0.7 Below) <<< Everyone should install it!

Finally, version 0.7! Instead of typing a paragraph I'll do this one list style.

1)Full screen pictures don't look like crap anymore when you full screen them.
2)Aspect-Ratio problems FIXED! So your pictures of all resolutions should look good.
3)Appleton's graphics have been added, so PF looks a lot better than before.
4)All graphics are loaded up dynamically, and can be found in the gfx folder. So you can make whatever changes you'd like to them. Advanced skin support will come later. But for now, you can change the buttons to whatever you'd like, once they've got the same size :). Artists, go crazy!

I think that's it,
Let me know how things go.

Hi,

Dexxa05 has just put up a compiled item in appleton's thread just above this one. Is his compilation different to yours or can we test either?

Thanks for putting this up, by the way.

This version includes simple mouse support, as well as joystick support. I don't think he compiled his own with mouse support :). Also, his own comes with some nice testing images.

@E_Shinobi
Are your pictures in the same folder as the exe? Also, remember, they must be in PNG, BMP, XBM, XPM or PNM format. No jpeg.

BMP wouldn't work. Tested it with PNGs and now it's working nearly flawlessly on non overclocked prophet.

This is very promising! Glad to finally see that work.

@lijnsane: As he wrote, he FORGOT to compile it with jpeg decompression. Sometimes reading actually helps :P

You've done it again!! Just when I thought I couldn't get more surprised by your work, you've managed to make me fall on my ass one more time. I know it is still in very early stages, but it works like a charm in my BA!!!
I will report bugs as I see them.

Bugs so far:

*Having a way to close the program would be nice
*jpeg support (of course you already know that :)
*zoom
*directory support would be a nice feature
*transition could be a little smoother, but I guess it might have to do with the fact that I am running from the SD card.

Other than that, keep it up!!!!!!!!! Great Job!!!!!!!

As indicated above, I forgot to add jpeg support while compiling QT. For demo purposes this isn't such a big problem, and it actually is quite useful for testing. Anyone who wants to use this method will just have to compile QT with jpeg support. Or do on the fly conversion, I think QT has a method for this, but I'm not sure. :)

Greetz,

place the complete pictureflo folder in your programfiles folder "programmabestanden" and then copy some files: PNG, BMP, XBM etc (see first post for suported files) into the pictureflo folder and start the .exe
Close program with the call end button

Will be back shortly to tell of it works or not :D

Okay back again, and now i know why it didn't work :ashame: i used an animated gif to test. I never looked futher than the extension :D.

Nice app still in the kids shoes but i look really good, i think once more developers notice this app the development will go very fast.

It's a good demo of PictureFlow. However, this could be more usable for viewing album art of music instead of pictures. PocketCM's ImageViewer implementation is much more efficient for image viewing because it is full screen, opposite to the concept of PictureFlow.

Great work! :)

My Dopod D810 works fine with this Jpeg support..

However, I have to reset my device once as it has insufficient memory to run.. my advice is to reset your device first and try to run it again.

Thanks to Thundershadow14 for making it work...

Just hope that we could get a version that can open up the pictures..

BTW, when I scroll my finger from right to left, the picture actually rotate from left to right.. I was thinking it might be the other way round..

Overall, thanks... for this program

Touch ELF @ 260 mhz

Still runs a bit choppy but usable.

jpegs work fine.

Scrolling with slides seems to be very sensitive now. Hard to control, it makes me want to browse through the images with the hardware keys.

I noticed an alert window that say "middle hit" when you tap the center of the image, are you planning on implementing a full screen view of the image that gets hit in the middle? That would be fantastic.

First class!

Cheers,

Thanks for the debugging. Looks like I'll probably have to sample the pictures on load time, and create thumbnails to insert into the ribbon. That way, we're sure that each file loads up well.

I noticed an alert window that say "middle hit" when you tap the center of the image, are you planning on implementing a full screen view of the image that gets hit in the middle? That would be fantastic.

Lol, yup! and ofcourse extend the hit point a bit to the left and the right, so it's easier to actually click. I'm working on creating the animation to do so.

Scrolling direction mixed up? Lol, sorry about that, will fix and re-upload in a minute. Also, I want to add support for being able to click on a picture to the left or right of the focused one, and bring that one into focus. Since, even on the iPhone, it's hard to swipe when you just want to move one picture forward or backwards.

The program works on my Kaiser (stock TyTN II ROM). But it doesn't open all jpg's still. It reads png's fine. Is there a file size limit it can read? Maybe I missed that. Since it needs to read all the files in, maybe it can't load all the jpg's into memory at start up. It seems to read small jpg's fine, but large one (say 1MB+) are a no go.

works on my tytn II with duttys v3. not sure what i can do with it other then just rotate through images, does it zoom or anything,or just rotate through images/ maybe the video shows it.

if i click it a certain way i get a box popping up saying "middle hit" then with an ok button.

also my keyboard icon appears sometimes on the bottom.

still, good start.

Great work! :)

If I can just add my 2 cents: the challenge in an image viewer is not picture flow, animation or whatever, it's loading data fast enough to give a proper experience. That's were the work is mostly needed to make a good app.

That doesn't change that I tried this poc (I love this kind of things, sometimes I even wonder if I shouldn't do that instead of other apps), and apart from the fact that it takes hours to load, it run quite smooth on a 200Mhz touch.

What devices and OS are you running? Strange behavior from the app, nothing like that happens on my Wizard. Oh, and are any of your jpegs large?? PF is known to trip over large jpegs.

Nah.. Sorry it was my fault. Anyway it is working all smooth as usuall but there are a few problems. Take a look at attached filles:

things can get a bit nasty when working with loads of images, especially when you've got images that are quite large.

all my pictures on my phone are pretty big ...so that must be why it wont load. too quick......at least the latest version did open... even if i couldnt do anything after that.......keep up the good work.

I'll be redoing the fullscreen method in the upcoming release. It will be dedicated to optimizing the app so that it runs as quickly as possible. I doubt I'll rely on the existing PF functions to bring things like full screen support to the table, I'm gonna do some painting of my own so that things are sped up.

Quite possibly, some regular bitbliting from the regular win32 api.

Are you running from your storage card or your main memory? And how much memory does your device currently have, free?

Or, try loading up these test jpegs.

@Everyone

If you're experiencing loading difficulties, or black screens, or any strange problems with PF, I've posted up some test jpegs that I personally test with on my wizard. Please test with these jpegs, and let me know if the same thing happens. Thanks :).

Working on that now :).

Edit:

For the developers:
PictureFlow, uses a QT function to load the jpegs from your file system, and apparently once the file size is over a 100kb (which is still quite small) it chokes, this is no fault of the original writer of PictureFlow. Now, I've noticed a similar QT function that loads the jpeg binary data from a variable you hand to it, in other words, you've got load the data by yourself. Obviously, they made this since more than likely they've realized the in-built function chokes on large files. So, I'm about to write some code to load up our files, and pass it to the QT API. Hopefully this should reduce some load time, even if it doesn't at the very least it'll support LARGE pictures.

Thereafter, I'll tackle zoom and pan support, as well as give PF some usability :). But there will be a release between these two.

I really want to finish this, so I can integrate it into PocketMelody (my other project) but I want it to be as stable and as efficient as possible before I do that.

Extracted the zip in my PC
Copied the whole folder to Program Files
Clicked PictureFlow.exe

This is what happens on my Dopod D810 running WM5
--PictureFlow.exe--
The file 'PictureFlow' cannot be opened. Either it is not signed with a trusted certificate, or one of its components cannot be found. You might need to reinstall or restore this file

does the folder name matters at all ? o_O

I am experiencing this as well. The only pics I placed in the file where the original pics on my phone, (ie, water fall, Photo etc.) Nothing above 30-40K. I am running standard OEM ROM wm5.

Help?

This is a WM5 problem. When PF is a bit more stable, and I clean up my additions to the original source, I'll give the source to another developer that has the WM5 sdk, and has the time to build QT etc.

Right now, I simply don't have the time to download and re-build, I want to get this software stable. But don't worry, I'll make sure WM5 is supported.

As for WM2003, I really don't think it's possible, currently QT DOESNT build against the WM2003 SDK, only WM5 and <.

this one just loads a black screen on mine

Hey P1Tater,

I've been trying it out on my TiLT and it works ok.

I copied the folder to my Storage Card and just added my pix in the same folder as the .exe file (.gif, .jpg) but I can only see the .gif files. I then renamed the .jpg files to .jpeg and works just fine.

Most new cameras and picture devices save images as .jpg and not .jpeg so this is going to be a problem.

Thoughts to improve program:

Improve the speed of loading.
Change the compatability so it accepts .JPG files as well as .JPEG
Improve the effects, when you try to zoom in on a picture its not so responsive.

I love the move for this little program and look forward to better modifications..keep up the good work guys..

My test pics are all .jpg. The original code definitely has some issues when it comes to loading pictures, and I'm in the process of overhauling it. Keep in mind, this app wasn't written for mobile devices with -200mhz processors, it's amazing that it runs so well. But anyway, I'm working on making things as efficient as possible :).

is your screen multi touch ? I don't think so...

LG KS20 feedback : Works very fine

but :
black screen on the start, need to click on the screen to make it work

needed :
- browser
- more view on the previous / next pictures (only see a mini vertical piece of the next pictures, not to easy to flick on it)
- possibility (button, gesture ? ) to rotate screen

anyway, chad, YOU RULES !!

After playing with 0.4 - ASUS P535 - WM6:

- it is hard sometimes to tap at the middle of the picture. If you tap slightly to the left it starts to rotate to the next picture. If you slightly tap a little more to the right it also starts to rotate to the next one instead of having full screen.
Could you please assign fullscreen option to the center button of keypad ? It would be easier to operate until the tapping works properly.

- after i start the program there is no problem to have the pic fullscreen and displayed properly - but after sometime I get blank WHITE SCREEN at fullscreen.

- all of the thumb's are displayed as square while most of the pic's are usually rectangular. Is it possible to have the thumbs in a rectangular shape ?

- would be great to have additional settings in config file to set the proper size of thumbs, for me the size is almost perfect but i see that other people would like to have them smaller. Simple txt file with parameter will do the thing

Great job again. I went to bed , I woke up and there is new version of PictureFlow :D That's the way to do it :D

The other major problem with this app (and it is a very nice app) is that it takes a portrait image that would normally look perfect fullscreen (ie image taken by the camera of the phone) and resize it to a square size for picture flow and then when you double tap to zoom it zooms that square image thus stretching it out vertically.

Perhaps this is because the author was developing this as a prelude to Pocket Meoldy and had albumart in mind the whole time.

It's a shame because this would make it less ideal as a picture viewer, which it has a huge potential to become a great one.

Perhaps when zoom to full screen, it should just use the original image instead of zooming from the pictureflow image.

Update:

Was running some performance tests today, and noticed a lot of things. First off, the load time for PictureFlow, (at least for me) is REALLY good!! It appears as though most of the time you wait is just QT loading itself up. I compiled a QT application that just popped a window up, and it took only a LITTLE bit less time to pop up than PF. Which means, that the current code is doing a bloody good job of rendering out the jpegs. I then threw some RIDICULOUSLY large bmps at PictureFlow 5mb+ and it chewed it up nicely. I then noticed, that I didn't include all the the jpeg module dll files in previous versions of PF, and figured this might be the reason for all the jpeg madness. Just so happens, I did so much madness to the lib that I didn't have the balance of the dll's compiled.

So, in short, here I am re-doing the PAINFULLY long process of recompiling QT (for the 3rd time) to make sure it spits out the PROPER jpeg dlls, and all of them too. Hopefully this should solve the problem, if not, I'll have to load up the jpegs with a 3rd party lib.

I was also able to play around with the prospect of integrating QT apps into existing Win32 C apps, and I think I've pretty much got my finger wrapped around it, so I should be ready to tackle PM, once I've made this stable enough.

That's it! Still lookin' good ;).

Another Update:
I just loaded up a 1mb+ jpeg file, with PictureFlow!! Turns out, the QT pixmap and image classes, although very powerful, couldn't handle the stress of loading large jpegs for some reason, so I had to help it out. I'm loading up the jpegs now using the standard calls to the win32 API, (just like I do the albumart in PocketMelody) I don't know why I hadn't thought about doing things this way before!

Anyway, I'm just polishing things up, adding the new graphics, and do a little more efficiency testing for 0.5.

Trying to rotate thorugh pictures seems a bit wonky sometimes. When i hti the left side of the screen it scrolls right. Someties when i hit the right side of the screen/image it doesnt do anything.

Ah is ee, it's very touchy. You to tap the screen between the picture that is in the centre and either the one left or right of it, then it scrolls correctly. I was hitting the left or right side of the actual centred image, or the left/right corners of the screen.

Works like a draem if you tap screen between the two pics, great stuff.

When looking at a picure full view, and then taping it once to return to the strip, that causes you to scroll left or right 1 image, must be a layering or parent/child thing going on. I assume you have to paly wtiht he code to make the strip unoperable while there is a full screen photo up.

Is it possible that people who have touchflo or ftouchflo running could be running into issues with the scrolling? Try turning these off or making an exception in ftouchflo's config file and then try the scrolling again. I'm curious if this helps anyone out!

Scrolling works like a charm this time. Works real nice but there is one thing that pisses me off : when you want to fullscreen one of the pictures you have to click exactly in the middle of it - if you do it slightly more to the left or right it rotates instead of fullcreen - it is real hard to operate like that. Buttons would be the only solution I guess.

Hey Chad,

How about getting in touch with the guy who wrote PocketCM to add nice smooth scrolling (good for lists in PocketMelody also) with gestures instead of the current "tapping" implementation. His app remains the best execution of "flicking" on Windows Mobile.

Hi Thundershadow,

Version 0.5 works on my TyTN. Great start.

Points of note: Its quite difficult to stop a picture so that it stops centre of the screen when you want to see it. Tends to need deft fingers to get this aspect to work.

2nd thing is that if one loads up pictures that the tool can't handle then all you get is multiple images of a particular shot that it can handle. Would be useful if this aspect could be changed to, perhaps a large red X or something similar, or, better still, the file name it is having difficulty rendering.

3rd thing is that the tool is quite fussy about the length of file names. If one uses a long filename eg bradpittsstagdo.jpg, the tool won't recognise it; however something short like brad1.jpg works.

Looking forward to the next version and the much heralded enhancements.

Well done.

WB

PS: Oh, forgot to mention it works in both landscape and portrait modes. Only issue is when you change between the 2 its not quite as seamless as one would expect. You tend to see the top bar of the today screen appear when you change modes.

Only way out is to close the app then reopen in the mode you want to view, then all is fine.

Also note that the very nice PocketFlow intro screen does not go right across the screen when in landscape mode.

Couldn't agree with you more! In fact, PocketMelody uses the iContacts scrolling routine for it's playlist (larna gave me the rights) ;). So no need to use the PocketCM routine :).

Tonight I'll be working on optimization and efficiency. Looking at ways to process the picture data quicker, and in turn making everyone happy. I think once things are a bit more efficient (will also use less memory) everything will just be icing on an already finished cake :).

Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I'm using an advantage and the program loads fine, the only issue with ver.5 is only 2 pictures load up and there are multiple of the same two. Also in ver .3 when you zoomed in on the pic it stayed in the flow view, but only larger. Are you looking to do the same with the final version because I thought that was kinda cool especially since my screen is 5". Keep up the great work.....

After playing with it:

Fullscreen pictures are instant - no problem with it. I had no problem w JPG files. I have them all scaled 320x200 and saved in photoshop. To be honest there isnt much to be done to have full working app soon. All I am waiting for is including those buttons so it will be easier to fullscreen pictures.

I dont think it is a good idea to have one app where you have browsing pictures and playing mp3 all combined togheter. There is no other app on the market for quick browsing pictures in a nice way - PictureFlow the way it is being developed seems perfect.

Future requests:
- real time zoom and pan for bigger pictures than 320x200
- directory browsing for pictures selection
- horizontal mode
- zooming and rotating pictures by using gestures.

First of all: Great application !!! Super idea to user the cover flow technique for a picture viewer.
Go on developing! This is very promising!

Things I realized playing around with the app:

- It is very pedantic about file extension. *.jpg works, *.JPG doesn't work. Had to rename all my pics

-now all my own pics i tested with work. Scrolling is smooth. Only the resizing to a square isn't so nice, because all my digi-cam pics are skewed.

- memory consumption is very high, start-up is pretty slow.

-one more funny thing: when I quit the app, I always have two instances of it in the task-manager. I tested again and again, quit all the instances and started picFlow only once. After pressing the red call-ed button i have two instances in the background.

without a doubt this is the most promising photo viewer I have seen so far. I just tested 0.5 on my wizard and see much improvement from 0.4. It would only load 2 of the jpgs I copied to the folder and when zoomed, they were pretty distorted (skewed vertically) but the action of the program is flawless and incredibly smooth. I can't wait to see where you take this. I would love to dump HTC album, which although a few versions are available for the wizard, none of them work as they should. Great work, I'll continue to follow your progress!

I will be adding zoom pan etc. at a later date (if someone else doesn't before me). Because, once the basic stuff here is finished, I'm open sourcing the application, and moving into the integration of PictureFlow in PocketMelody. But the most important thing for me right now, is to create a stable PictureFlow application, and that's where my head is right now :).

for me, to use it into PM, you should set the speed of the flow, because, if not, we'll change music too fast

Love the application! I was shocked to see that it actually ran my Treo.

Would it be possible to detect if you have a 240x240 screen and only zoom the images to that size for us square screen users? Also, your splash screen doesn't fit properly in a square screen but that is no biggie. Other than that, things are working fairly well.

I have a noob question...will this ever be set up with a .cab to install? Most other apps install with the .cab and thus show up in my programs so I can just click to play. Either I am missing something or this app isn't designed to install and must be "searched" for and then clicked to run. No big deal except I have yet to figure out how to make a shortcut on these mobile devices. I want all my programs in one nice clickable area instead of having to manually search/find the .exe and click to run it. Am I making any sense?

I usually don't cab my apps until I have feel they can actually be used as an independent app. When it's a cab, you've got to remove the app and all of that etc. And for me at least, I dont like an unfinished app showing up in my "Programs" directory :).

If it's not installed for now because of testing and changes I can certainly understand and will still continue to use the app to play with and test the functions. I was just hoping that eventually it will be finalized so that it can be installed and used like a normal app :)

thundershadow14
14th January 2008, 09:47 PM
thundershadow: when can we expect next version ? I am just curious so that I dont have to check forum every 2 minutes :D

:) Lol, answering this question is more difficult that programming this application itself. I'd love to tell you expect it in another hour, minute, or a few seconds, but things are very unpredictable when developing software. At this moment, I think I've ironed out the last major bug for PF. I just found out why files with long names act quite strangely. And keep in mind, when i say files with long names, I'm talking about the FULL path, not just the single file name alone. In addition to this, I've also sorted out why some jpgs act weird. I had a flag that set the max resolution for jpegs being loaded set to 320x240, so if your jpeg was larger than that, chances are it would have messed up (and in turn mess up the entire load process of the following pictures). With these two bugs fixed, you should see MUCH MUCH MUCH better improvement in the loading of pictures.

Then, I've got to look at all the possible ways to shorten the load time of PF. Right now, I think it renders too many pics to the left and right of the center image. Remember this code was initially written for the desktop, so what would work well on desktops won't work as well on our little devices.

To answer your question in short: I'm working tirelessly on this project, but I just don't want to make any promises, and dash anyone's hopes, ultimately making people angry. But I am working as we speak, and I always try to release my work ASAP.

-Chad.

First of all great software! It works fine, but:

- I can not figure it out how i can get my picture on full screen. I'm tapping in the middel of the picture but nothing happens.
- I can not exit the program by sweeping up of using the joystick.

I'm having a Artemis (HTC3300) with touchflo (+cube) software.

The software would be really great if you can program a functionality that you can choose you're music album from it by selecting the covers and after selecting that the music player will play the album. Same as the Iphone! What do you thing of this:

that really sound promissing. hope that many bgs are fixed and that we can use
- bigger jpg
- choose directory
- donīt get many same pictures because of not supported format
- loadup time is quicker

weīll see....

Hey Everyone, I think I finally got my donations up and running so you can show your support! :D:

Please Click On the Link in my signature, on the first page, or RIGHT HERE (http://www.sunatrise.com/donate.html). I'm not using my paypal account, so please follow the VERY simple instructions on my page. Thanks already!

Update:
I just got my new laptop, and will be setting up (dev environment and all) tomorrow, so I just wanted to tell you not to expect a release tomorrow. I'm telling you so people don't feel I've dropped off the map! :).

But I'm really close to a much more efficient PictureFlow load up! Keep the coffee coming though! :p

Hi,
I can't see any pics with my Tytn II. I reduce all the jpg files to 280x210 and it still only shows black screen. But when I put back the pics in the zip file it works, but some pics don't show and some appear more than once!!??
Please help.
Thanks!!!!

Hey guys, I realized (shortly before i got a begging PM, heheh) that there are a wealth of WM5 users who want PictureFlow. So, I've decided to extend some support to them. According to the QT docs, QT/WINCE has full support for WM5 devices, and I thought it was unfair to limit PictureFlow to us WM6 users. So, in lieu of this fact, I'm downloading the WM5 SDK. It's 174 megs, and I've got really bad DSL here at home. So it's going to take at least another hour and a half; thereafter, I'm trusting Visual Studio to take care of all the linking etc. so I don't have to build QT again :). If all goes well, I'll have a WM5 release of the last version of PF up here soon.

I'll also ask the WM6 users to re-download this version, and see if there are any improvements/negative comments about the WM5 version. If things are the same (or better), I'll simply continue to develop with this SDK. Otherwise, I'll just have to release two versions each time

Wish me happy downloading :).

Okay guys, finally downloaded and configured the project with the WM5 SDK. Now Visual Studio claims to have converted the project and it compiles just the same as it did with the WM6 SDK. So it SHOULD work. If it doesn't, let me know, and I'll have to compile a separate QT install configured specifically for wm5. Or just dump the old config all together. Anyway here it is:

http://sunatrise.com/PM/PictureFlowWM5%200.5.zip

It's also on the main page.

Hi thundershadow14,

I try your 0.5 wm5 version on my hw6915 but i have a certificat problem :(

Same thing happened here. Pictureflow says something about the certificate and component can't be found. I've also noticed something with the thumbnails when copying the cab folder. says it can't be copied.

Can anyone with a WM5 device and an msn account help me out here? I'm still compiling QT, but instead of posting it up here over and over again, it just needs to work with one WM5 device. If any of you have an msn account please let me know, so I can add you, to test out the re-worked WM5 version. It usually takes little over half an hour to compile.

No more certificate problem for all WM5 users!! Check the first post to get the updated and TESTED WM5 version. As mentioned before, although this is the EXACT same version as the last WM6 version, all of you who have WM6 devices should still test it out to make sure it's working on your devices too, since I'll be using this as a print for all future releases of PocketMelody :).

Waiting on feedback :).

I think it's pretty awesome. I think it will be just perfect for pocketmelody. The problems at the moment are: screen goes white now and again, plus it moves past the pic you want to select next, as it moves fast, but perfect if you just want to use the buttons instead of the touch screen, and loading up is pretty slow. the only way to get out of pictureflow is by clicking up on your button pad or pressing the calender, taskbar etc.

I can see this as a music player big time though. :D I know what ever you got planned next will be awesome.
