problem with random atom life wifi auto on

hi peeps i been having this problem with my atom life.
sometimes my wifi will auto on.sometimes it will on after i did a soft reset.
initially i thought it could be due to some software i am running.but i did hard resets,clean rom upgrades and stuff but still having the same issue.

read somewhere that it could be due to the o2 connect thats causing the problem.but it comes together with the lastest rom upgrade how do i uninstall it.i've tried disabling the o2 connect "auto update" but its still the same.:confused:

If you see your wifi is on upon boot, even when you distinctly never turned it on:

1. Don't open the wireless manager. That is, if you still want to be able to control the wifi chip. If you open it without resolving the problem, you'll have to soft reset if you want the manager to be able to turn wifi on and off.
2. Go into Settings -> Connections -> Wifi Manager.
3. Select Turn On wifi. Wait a few seconds.
4. Select Turn On wifi again (this step will turn wifi OFF!)

If done correctly, you'll have taken back control of that out-of-control wifi chip.As usual, to avoid this completely, DO NOT SOFT RESET with a software method (like SKTools or the builtin Reset program), as this by far ALWAYS triggers the problem.
