TomTom have a 'up to 50%' sale going on 'til end of Jan. Hopefully I'll have my Polaris before the sale ends.

Western Europe map (900MB<download>1G) for £39.95 after discount. Not bad me thinks.

I could but why the rush. Besides, it'll be like having the lingerie before the woman. Just adding to the frustration.

could it be that the sale is because a better updated maps are just about to come out?

TomToms web has been down for days....I've been trying to get the North America map & it says "down for updating".

I tried it now for both UK & US and it's fine.

Looks like I'd be getting the maps before Polaris :rolleyes:

PS: is the tomtom version of the polaris the same as the kaiser version one (tomtom 6.032.8351) ?

The newer maps that are for sale are only compatible with the version 7 software they will not work with a PDA AFAIK (I would be very interested to hear if anyone has them working on a device running TTN6 though) - Mike
