Carrier Name

I was wondering if there was anyway to the name of the carrier. I noticed on some roms my carrier comes up as UMTS AT&T, other roms 3G AT&T, is there a way to make it just say AT&T.

In the registry find the following keys:

HKLM/Software/OEM/PhoneSetting

Make sure Enable3GLongNamePrefix = 1

And the contents of "LongNamePrefix" is what is displayed before your carrier name. You can change it to anything...such as 'ajaholic' and your carrier would turn up as "ajaholic AT&T".
