Hi i have a SPV M3100 which has been working perfectly until yesterday it started saying "No Service" with my Orange Sim Card. I have tried the following things:
1) Tried my Orange Sim Card in a friends SPV M3100 and it finds a signal. - So Its Not the Sim Card.
2) I have tried Re-flashing the original HTC 3.54.255.3 no change.
3) Even tried an o2 and 3 Sim card in it...still "No Service"
I think the antennas working fine...because if i go to Settings>Phone>Network and select "Manual" and click on "Find Network" it detects and gives me a list of:
Orange
O2-UK
Vodafone
T-Mobile UK
I select Orange and still nothing. And On My SPV M3100 it is reading the Sim Card fine...it shows up my phone number and my contacts etc..
What could it be?

This thread can now be closed or deleted. Screwed the phone up trying to get it fixed. It comes on and everything but no the Computer sees it as "Unknown Device" and the wi-fi wont work at all now.
So delete or close this thread please i have had enough.

Relax dude, do a hard reset and see if that helps.
Can you tell us what radio version you are using?

Update to a different ROM, and also flash a new radio to the device (1.47.30.10).

MAKE SURE you have flashed HardSPL to the device first.

Hmm, hardware problem I suspect.
You could try changing the band to GSM only?
start>settings>phone>band.
If that doesnt work its a hardware problem i think.

Well According to the seller i bought it off he hasnt reported it missing or stolen....I tried going to orange with my purchasing details etc and they just said "nothing we can do now".
what do i do now, go to the police? or what?

Dude, unfortunatly..........sounds like the seller is spinning you some lies, if HE/SHE stole it are they likely to admit it? :(
It seems very unlikely they police blacklisted the imei by accident...if you go to the police and suggest its not stolen you most likely will either be prosecuted for handling stolen goods (probably wont but they CAN do you for that even if you are an innocent party just buying from a stranger) or they will confescate the device since it it probably nicked?
Id put this down to bad luck, sorry man.

That makes me feel alot better...
All i know is that I didnt pay £165 to have it blacklist on me! There must be something.

Again dude, unfortunatly id have to put this down to bad luck, the seller has either reported it as stolen then sold it anyway, or he/she stole the device in the first place.
Either way its very unlikely you can do anything about a blacklisted imei once it is on the list.
