Paired with my Audi navigation (RNS-E), the 8525 sounded great and could jack up the volume on the navigation unit really loud if needed. Now with the TILT, the BT is bringing the sound from the phone over through the navigation and it sounds really bad. Also, the ring tone from the phone is played only once on the phone then it rings the 2nd ring through the navigation system which also sounds horrible. Neither of these sound issues happened with the 8525. No changes made to the Audi nav unit between the two phones.
Today, I updated the TILT with radio 1.27.14.09 and the BT fix from AT&T 1.60 but no change.
Anyone else have this issue with your BT equipment when you moved from 8525 to TILT?

I'm having the same problem. I upgraded to (read 'lost my 8125 so had to buy a') Tilt a few days ago. The phone is great in almost every respect except for the Bluetooth audio when in calls. Music sounds about as good. But the phone sound is very choppy and staticy. And the volume seems to jump up and down as the person is speaking so that the beginning of the word is hard to hear, then the volume cranks up till it seems to clip. It kind of hurts my ears, especially if the volume on my headphones is turned up.
Anyone have any suggestions?
Thx, -John

Known Kaisier issue. Relief is coming when WM6.1 is released for the Tilt. Much improved bluetooth stack.

Thanks for the quick reply. Is there anything that can be done in the mean time? And is there an expected release date for WM6.1?
Thanks,
-John

I have a Tilt and and Audi Nav System and mind works like a charm.
CE OS 5.2.1622 bld. 18128.0.4.4
rom 1.62.502.0
radio 1.27.14.09
However, in my humble opinion, BT is the flakiest part of the OS. I've spent numerous hours trying to get closure with my headset, trying different configurations. It seems very easy for an application to ruin the working setup. So I pay close attention when using a new app.
