Well, I've had my Tilt for about a month now and I want to put a different rom on it.

I read that HardSPL is the way to do it. I downloaded the stuff I needed and followed instructions but nothing happens. No tricolors or anything like that. I am using Vista, so I don't know if thats the problem. But essentially, nothing happens at all. My phone stays on the Home screen, no prompts or anything. Any suggestions?

And whats a good ROM to switch over to. I just hate having all this ATT stuff on my phone.

I too have a tilt and use Windows Vist a and it was rather difficult to make it work. What I ended up doing that worked out well was to place the phone into the tri-color screen mode before connecting it to my system. To do that, just turn the phone off, then hold in the camera button as you turn it on. After that HardSPL worked fine.

As for your second question, which rom you use is all about personal preference. I have been a loyal user of Dutty's roms, but there are other good ones as well. Just don't forget to flash a different radio version before flashing a rom, since the AT&T radio version is not compatible with the cooked roms found on this site.
