Is there a way to make HTC home use long date format instead of the short date format to display the date?

I used app HTCustom to change the date as well as other tweeks. I think there are a few other ways like using app HTC Home Customizer or a registry setting...

go to registry, HKLM/nls/overrides/SSDte change to 'dddd d MMMM yyyy' (it will shows e.g. Sunday 13 January 2008)

If you are unable to find the above registry keys of the above, u have to change the shortdate settings in your device's settings i.e go to Settings/Systems/Regional Settings change the short date item to something else ie from dd/mm/yy to d/mm/yy etc.

..hope that helps

as for me I edited registry key concerned to ddd d/mm/yy, & below is how my date in htc home looks like..

well the thing is when i just manually change the short date format, it also uses that format in other programs such as messaging and that is kind of annoying because it cuts off the from field. is there a way to just change the date format on the htc home app?
