So I'm thinking about flashing to a new r.o.m....here's what I'm looking for:

Run PlanPlus for Outlook 5.0 as fast & reliably as possible.

Run everything as fast as possible...reliably.

Recommendations?

Dutty dual V2 nothing out there beats this in speed and reliability!!!!

V3 is not as reliable and definitly slower IMHO

Run PlanPlus for Outlook 5.0 as fast & reliably as possible...is this the best way to go to do this as well?

Do you have experience with PlanPlus for Outlook 5.0?

er...i would say schaps, q-mobile and alex's roms would be the fastest and reliables..
dutty's (no offence here) includes a huge repository of apps installed, more than half which are never used by most people..

i don't know who here uses panplus, so you might have to test this out yourself. Gotta understand, the least application on your phone, the faster it'll be, so the ultra clean roms are the fastest.

I'm running alex's multimedia 1.6 and it's really fast with 157MB left for you to install whatever you want. I tried XDA live but it's too stripped down. it's super fast if you want speed.

I went through many of these ROMs and my two recommendations:

Helmi's AKU0.7.0_4 clean (ftp://xda:xda@ftp.xda-developers.com/Uploads/Kaiser/Test/helmi_kaiser_aku.0.7.0_04_clean.exe)
Alex's UltraClean V4 (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=G32WD9IY)

both are superfast and superstable, no bunch of who-would-ever-use-that-app in 'em

But you have to try yourself and you will see which will suit you best.

I vote for Q-Mobile 1.2 which will be released tomorrow morning MST :) But of course I'd have to vote for my own hehe.

Dutty's V3 Final.... I tried them all. The guy that said it is slow DOES NOT know WTF he's talking about.

Schaps is introducing a new ROM tonight, but like all of his other ROMs for sure will be buggy and he will of course disappear for a week before he would answer a question, or repair a glitch in his own ROM.

No one is asking anyone to upload a rom or use any of the cooked roms out there. But as a courtesy of both user and producer, I feel support is important.

Dutty has been here everyday responding to inquiries and questions, and will answer almost all questions. Of course there is a limit to one can do, but in Schaps case, he is too busy with other things and too involved in too many projects I think.

I absolutely agree about Dutty's support - he's better than any techdesk :D beating all the "SLAs" to the ground (maybe under ;))
