First i want to say thankyou for jiggs (The Starter WM6 for Atom), for chartreux (The Starter WM6 for Atom Exec), my buddy Garmin and all others member in this we beloved forum... Glad to share with all

About this ROM:
- SYS & XIP Packaged: Random mix from HTC Devices.
- ROM Revisions: QuickMenu 2.7 (tnx for nanling), PocketCM by tene, Games Add-on by Tuma, New STK Module (Working Perfectly), Smart Notepad (I'm forget who's the author, but thanks for this program), Wait Animation by Marshall and more (read System Info).
- ExtendedROM: SmileySMS 1.53 by Roozbeh, Resco Explorer 6.17, Resco Registry Add-in, TCPMP, and more (read System Info).
- Pagepool: 6MB.

I've been using chartreux's ATOM EXEC WM6 0.7b.0 WWE 20071216A3WWE (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=352221) ROM for quite a while now, ever since it was first released and I must say that I am extremely impressed with what he and many others in the ROM cooking space have done with these old and outdated o2 Atom Exec phones. You have extended the life of our phones.

Now as I wait with bated breath for the new N-Touch release which you are about to deliver, I am delicately poised to re flash with this ROM, however I have experienced much pain with one particular issue that seems to be a recurring phenomenon with a lot of these ROM'S.

The problem I am talking about is when using Bluetoooth headset (not stereo). Pairing is no problem, my Supertooth II pairs and with a click of a button, invokes the Microsoft Voice Command dialer and at that point I am theoretically connected to my handsfree, however when I attempt to make a call my o2 automatically turns into speakerphone mode and uses the mic on the phone rather than the mic on the handsfree and it also makes the volume on the headset very loud and in effect my voice very low to callers. I've tried A2DP fixes, but I don't think they are relevant to mono handsfree kits.

I've played with the SRS WOW HD settings and this helps a little when I choose the Flat profile, but it severely distorts the callers voice if I use say WOW Rock or anything other than Flat.

I notice in the first post of known issues that this one isn't listed, can you confirm that this issue has been resolved in your ROM?

I had the same problem when using ATOM EXEC WM6 0.7b.0 WWE 20071216A3WWE... Now I'm using RC2 and don't face this problem already.. I'm not using RC3 at this point of time due to TCPMP play not smoothly and I watch a lot of video on my Atom Exec (which I have already highlighted to abusalza)..

I'd imagine RC3 would also resolve my problem given that each ROM would normally be an extensions of the older ROM with improvements / bug fixes, but your mention of TCPMP issues does concern me a little.

But maybe abusalza can give us a clue as to whether N-Touch resolves both our problems i.e. Bluetooth Handsfree and TCPMP not playing smoothly.

I would gladly donate to this cause if it did.

Hi, everyone. This's my first post. If I'm mistake something then I'm apologize. I've problem with Bluetooth too. My bluetooth headset is i.Tech Clip Radio. I can pair it with my O2 Atom Exec but when I use it to call my friend. Sound was so loud and have many interfere. When I've talk with friend. They've say that my voice was miss. Is there someone already solve this problem? Or I must find new bluetooth to use with it. I use RC3 (Abusalza) and AKU0.7b (Chartreux) ROM. Both got the same problem. I've wait for this new release from Abusalza. So, maybe this release can solve my problem.

And for RC3 (Abusalza) everything was great but TouchFlo was not smooth on my O2. And last time I found this one "Touch Commander" or something like this. I've try it on both ROM. Work just fine and have feeling like iPhone and it don't eat much ram to run. I think if someone need to feel like iPhone.

One issue. Last few day I found some program that I think it was useful. "Carty Studios Ultimate Theft Alert" They say it's work completely stealth. It will check SIM card for everytime that OS boot. If our phone was steal and change SIM then this program will send info of SIM to number that we've set. It was great idea hah!

Yes, I agree with Brendo. But if stoler was thought that the phone was clean and just hard-reset then use SIM. At least we can know stoler's SIM info and can track for next further, right? I think it don't worse to try 'cause in my country (Thailand) here. There have many more stoler. (T_T)

It seems I may have have resolved the Bluetooth problem that I am having myself somehow on the way home yesterday.

These are the steps I took:

1. Install WM6 A2DPTweaker (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=308752&page=9) look at the instructions at Post #85
2. Make sure Headset Volume is set to default i.e. 117.0dB.
3. Restart Device.

WOW HD Settings don't matter too much with the A2DPTweaker, so I can have pretty much any profile I want now.

One thing though, the issue whereby my device assumes handsfree didn't happen yesterday and I realised that this normally only happens when I use my bluetooth handsfree to re-dial last number dialled and I need to re-pair for it to work correctly.

U can deactivated mui registry (sorry i'm forget to facing with this tweak, wy exec is not with me:o)

It takes fairly long while to set up the machine and get things going. Reinstalling things is quite a bit of work in my case.

I really like new ROW, the current RC3 give me "fake death" quick often. I call it "fake death" because it can be revived by turning the machine off and on.

i disabled automated driver installation and i also typed the
''Bcdedit.exe /set nointegritychecks ON ''
command
but the f***king computer still installs certain drivers for my atom........and the result is to recognize it as a microsoft usb sync and NOT an HTC usb sync as it should be so the update procedure could find the right target and update my rom.......

any ideas?
i am struggling for almost half a day here......:(

I've never tried to running dsuu under vista. And on my place is nobody have pc with vista installed. so i can't try flashing rom with vista

I thing this is the problem with rapidshare

As of 19 January 2008 16:00 GMT, Rapidshare AG's servers were shutdown by anti-piracy authorities in Germany. More than hundreds of Rapidshare servers were seized from their offices in Berlin although no arrests were made. Thanks Abuzalsa.. I am from india.. This ROM worked like as if it is the ONE my Atom Exec was waiting for. Faster loading.. great new icons.. Best for sure...from all earlier ROMs I used. Congratulations to your efforts. One request.. earlier I was able to disconnect the EDGE/GPRS connection by long pressing red button.. that does not seems to work now... you have to open wireless manager and disconnect from there...which is a bit long procedure.. can u do somthin about it...Ya one more.. can the wait cursor skin be changed if yes how...Thanks gain for great ROM

Have run this ROM for a few days now. I take your words that it is faster. (CE-Star plus writing inputs will make any system slow).

Icons are too dark.

Seem to be more stable than RC3.

Thank you for your great effort. We do need a good AtomExec ROM to revive this machine. It is too pity to throw it away because of lacking a good ROM.

By the way, this ROM support 4G but not 8G card. It can read and write the card but the card can not be writing with ActiveSync.

However, 8G card is no problem in Kaiser, so the problem is not in ActiveSync.

Hey, This's my report after I try the way follow by eskarous for a few day. it's take a good sound but on the phone I got an bad sound quality. And If I listen song from Windows Media then after that I can't hear sound from other when I phone. I must restart PPC to make it back. I think I must buy some new bluetooth that support this ROM. I think it's because of A2DP Driver or My bloetooth. So, I report this to let's everyone know that bluetooth (i.Tech Clip Radio) DO NOT work fine on AKU0.7b (Chartreux), RC3 (Abusalza) and N-Touch (Abusalza). If someone will buy bluetooth and want to use this great ROM then please check this out. Try find other that suite with this ROM.

Hey, This's my report after I try the way follow by eskarous for a few day. it's take a good sound but on the phone I got an bad sound quality. And If I listen song from Windows Media then after that I can't hear sound from other when I phone. I must restart PPC to make it back. I think I must buy some new bluetooth that support this ROM. I think it's because of A2DP Driver or My bloetooth. Normally when I faced this problem (happens in all ROMs) is due to some program running (or even if you have already closed them, but stay in memory somehow)..

Try close all program first... if still can't work, then you will need to soft-reset.

I found that if I use xx.mid as ringtone, the ring volume will become very low when there is an incoming call, but ok with xx.wma.

I m rather new with upgrading the ROM outside O2 support. I just happen to come across this forum.

Since O2 is already gone and not providing anymore ROM upgrades, I am interested to upgrade my ROM using Ntouch.

However, If I am to use the Ntouch ROM, will i lose the original softwares provided, such as worldmate, codewallet? :confused:

I find that given free softwares are quite useful to me and i hope not to lose it when I upgrade the ROM.

Please help to advice.

It is quite strange to my Exec. After deleting a short cut at the start menu, it become inactive, but still shown there. It does not show up by Explorer nor Quick Menu too. It will be gone after Soft Reset.

Does any one encounter similar issue, and advise me how to get rid of it by tweaking the registry? Thank you.

I have found a way to refresh it without softreset - going start menu and then go to a Folder, and then back..... But I still don't understand why??

Band Switch working nice with me, but it can't work if u access from quickmenu (It's incompatibility from software). Tap "Start" menu on the text, not on apple/windows icon on left top bar, u will get original start menu.
btw is freeware with name PocketIslam. U can download from PocketGear (http://classic.pocketgear.com/software_detail.asp?id=9777)

Hi Abusalza gr8 work. i m using it for last about 1 & 1/2 week almost. The ROM u created works superb. Even the battery works really good, even with BT headset. Previous ROMs use to drain battery with BT devices within 5-6 hrs. But this ROM has very good battery support. It never hangs also.
But one prob is when u r talking to someone & u get a second call alert & if u didnt reply for more than four calls, the phone hangs. No further response to any keys or screen taps.
Same thing happens when u r away from ur phone & if there r 5-6 calls, which become miss calls when u dont pick them up, the phone hangs. It so happens that after 5-6 unanswered calls phone do not show any further incoming calls as well, when d person calling u is hearing that ur phone is ringing.
Is there any solution for that?

btw pocketcm only show contacts on device, not in sim. so u just copy your sim contacts with htc sim manager to device:)

If you installed RC3 before, please delete all the files in C:\WINDOWS\TEMP and put the new files there, then only run the program...

Download Quickdial-patched, and copy it to your device,.

Dont download and copy the .brn files, if you copy i, your vista cube will look terrible (the quick dial will be revert to original touch skin,. :p

Of course it cant be deleted my friend, that file was cookd, "cooked file cant be deleted via "file explorer" but you could try resco explorer, or other exlorer tools,.

I have change the font in SMS much bigger, and blank the background, and do away with the scroll bar (unless when it is needed, it will appear).. please see attached photo.. if you like it, just put the files in the ZIP file into your PDA's WINDOWS directory and overwrite the existing file (you may want to backup your original files first)..

Hv u noticed that when u r in roaming i.e. using other network, O2 does not show its name. I mean to say the other network that u r using. I dont know why. It so happens that while roaming some networks offer free incoming & some offer paid. Since u dont see which network u r using it becomes a mess sometimes. Is there any solution for that.

The problem was the device ID changed to a device id not in the wceusbsh.inf file provided with activesync. Tried adding the device ID to the inf file however couldn't Sync, although mobile link worked.

As this is my very first post in this forum, i have been using all the ROM's available till now by our great great authors like Jiggs/ kumara/ uday ... but yesterday i tried uploading N-touch ROM PP6Mb ROM,did worked great till now but all of sudden my screen started behaving awkard,it started scanning line on the screen moving upwards and even the display light has gone lighter then the normal settings i used,so i thought might be the problem with the ROM,i HF it but the problem continues, so i thought i'll use some other ROM,i tried Giggs-Touch Edition using Atom in Bootloader mode i started DSSU,till the 2nd screen where it checks and ask for upgrade finally it shows me "country ID or Device ID Error" and on the Atom screen it showed"Try to load DSUU through OS mode and sync first and try again later",after several attempts i was not able to solve,had even check the forum for country id error,where it was only mentioned to HF and upgrade thru bootloader mode,no other solution. Would seriously appreciate if our seniors look into my problem,as i am a business man and totally dependent on Atom.

If anyone has came across with such problem of screen scanning lines or country id error,would sincerly request to help me out.

I thin u have an Atom Pure why did u flash an Atom Exec Rom to it as NTouch is by Abusalza for Atom Exec Only and very clearly written on the first page of the Thread??
However, now u can try this exactly to make it work agian. Please follow it exactly step by step or u will not be able to get ur Atom back.
These are the instrs from Jiggs:-
1. copy eboot.nb0 to your SD-CARD (in the root and card should be 512 MB or less) and insert your card to your ATOM
2. preset camera+reset
3. you will see the progress status (wait until your device off)
4. TAKE out your SD-card
5. preset camera+reset again (you will see MN1 bootloader)
6. hook up your USB
7. run software update utility (you may use orig WM5 by O2 Atom)
8. wait until 6% stack on extended ROM (you will see failed status on your bootloader screen during update ext ROM or u may not see but the progress stops at 6%)
9. press on/off + reset perform hard reset.
10. your windows will be up and able to sync with activesync. (your bootloader now MN2 again!!)
11. now you may perform the DSUU and this time your EXT rom will be update successfully.
12. delete EBOOT.bin from your SD card
13. done and enjoy.

please beware, you are playing the most dangerous part now.

CE OS 5.2.1413(Build 1858.0.7.0)

when I run Device Software Update Utility after next and some minutes the error was appear : No download target was found!!
:confused:

What should I do?
I have copied to windows\temp folder but still have problem.
I have asked from Abusalza and he kindly answers me but until now I have problem.

a. Which OS u r using Vista or XP?
b. Which drive u have u loaded the OS in C or any one else?

a. My OS is Vista Home Premium
b. I copied in C:\Windows\temp which Abusalza has told me to copy.

Before that I Upgraded Windows Mobile 5 (Original of ATOM Exec) to 6 which jiggs introduced by Vista and have no problem.

My current ROM is 5.2.1413 (Build 18508.0.7.0)

hamed_61, sorry pal but I use XP for flashing and have no experience in Vista. But have heard a lot of complaining around the threads for flashing with Vista. Hi, I have an O2 XDA Atom Exec, purchased in Singapore. I know that there are several versions of the XDA Atom Exec. Is this ROM for the O2 XDA Atom Exec, available in South East Asia, with no keyboard, but powered at 520 MHz, and GPRS?

Please let me know. I dont want to brick my device.
