My phone is die because turn off PC when uprom ?
It's not turn on , not signin bootloader... Hepl me

No bootloader = gone

Someone tried to pry open the phone to JTAG the ROM but they reported back that a metal cover is protecting the ROM chip from being JTAG

So conclusion, sell your phone for scrap

thank u so much but i tried open my phone but haven't got Rom chip (Flash chip ?) replace it. i'm live in Vietnam. JTAG is what??? i don't known.

If you can't get to the bootloader, your phone is dead. Give it up.

I don't think anyone can help. Since there is no bootloader, you cannot do anything. Plus you wrote that you have SDA2, which is not HTC Tornado.

I assume you also can't perform a hard reset?

JTAG is a (physical) connection to the ROM chip to program it. You need special equipment and expertise to reprogram your phone this way, but if it's dead otherwise why not give it a try and open your phone ;).

Be sure to make some pictures and post them here :P.

Or go back to the store, try to look really innocent and have the manufacturer fix it for you (this probably won't work btw).

please I would like remplace a rom (os) chip because I have a brick (white screen) tonado and another that is broken the mainboard..
bur If I know which is the chip flash I could be remplace and have one good phone..

I have a silly question.... When you place connect your phone to your pc... Does windows do that sound as recognizing that something was connected? If so... Try to flash the T-Mobile SDA Ship ROM. You don't need to be on bootloader to flash a ship rom, as long as windows recognizes that something is there. The "enter boot loader" in the Rom Flashing will take care of that. At least.... it happend once for me when I was sure I had bricked my SDAII. Also, My SDAII does say its a Tornado. However, I have read many say that SDAII's are not tornados. Confused.

hi... the problem is that when I connect to pc, the pc can´t recognize... can´t acces to bootloader just I have a white screen.... I´ve tried with activesync, mtty, TeraTermPro but nothing....... first I upgrade to windows 6.1 perfect english and all perfect (I unloked the phone, I follow all steps to upgrade the phone and works) but the problem is the when I tried to downgrade to t-mobile official rom....
