Hey guys..

Basically the cd player in my car broke (it was a nice lil sony thing) and well the car ride home was tooo quite so what I ended up doing was playing mp3 tru the phone speaker and had tomtom connected to an external bluetooth gps navigating me home..

And well I quite liked it :) Only thing was I wanted better sound quality obviously and I thought it would've been neat to change tracks without having to minimise tomtom...

So I did a quick search and look what I found:

Supports A2DP too!!

My question: Can I have my phone connected to an external gps via bluetooth whilst also streaming music to the car via bluetooth??

Also has anyone had any experience with these devices? They are a bit cheap.. but the SD card slot and 7" screen + divx and usb support are also really nie features i'm intersted in... also the bluetooth for answering calls is kinda sweet.

For your specific case i am not sure. But, as an indication, i do not have any problem to connect tomtom on an external gps through bluetooth and to use a stereo headphone to listen to music. When i use tomtom, it is in "mute" then i do not know how it would react if tomtom "speaks" and you listen to music...

Well.. i think that would cover it then... because it shouldn't be any different between car / headphones... also i'm pretty sure it'll just spit out whatever comes tru the normal speakers too, because when my headphones worked i'm pretty sure i remember hearing menu clicks and stuff too.. so I would assume if tomtom wasn't on mute it would play the voice prompts.. which is what I would like actually too...
