View Full Version : temporarily unavailable despite max signal strength?!, but can make outgoing calls

Am I the only one in the world with this problem:
Sometimes nobody can call me - they get the "temporarily unavailble" message. And I don`t even get to notice not being reachable . But I can always make outgoing calls, any time. This problem does not have anything to do with radio signal strength, I tested that!
Now I tested the SIM in another phone, and it seems I`m not having that problem. So it must have something to do with the S710.
But it`s not even logical, or ist it?!
And I can`t even rely on soft-resets: sometimes this f***ing problem is still existent after a soft-reset.
How can I be unreachable while I could make a call at the same time????
This drives me mad! I cannot use the S710 anymore as long as this is not fixed.
Any suggestions?

uummm,...
I am not sure what you mean, to be honest.
but the Phone is not "tuned" in any way.
I have no additional programs installed or overclocked the phone. and for 3 months in usage before, I did not have this malfunction (asaik).
Let me state, that I always have bluetooth turned off.

Could you look up what radio and ROM version you have?! Where did you buy it and what language is it?

I still am collecting advices. So far I haven`t taken any steps to solve the problem despite asking in different portals.
So you think, I should prefer flashing a new ROM instead of or before installing that Bluetooth Hotfix by HTC?
Is there a ROM version that is known to be "the best" or "the worst"?

No no try the hotfix first! Way less work to do! And safer anyways! I fyou're satisfied with your ROM then there is no need to flash!
