I had this plugin working, then did a hard reset, now I can't find the working one again. Will someone kindly point me in the right direction?

Do i have to disable to the default HTC home plugin prior to installing? Because installation is always unsuccessful.

Yes first disable th default home plugin and then install the new one and then soft reset your device. For whatever reason, it will not allow you to get the 6th tab for contacts though.

Anybody know how to get the Contacts tab working??

To my knowledge, It is not possible to get both the Contacts Tab from the HTC Home and the Quick Dial Contact Side of the Cube together. So if you have the cube, you are not able to activate the quick dial tab of HTC Home.

There is a work around for this posted here:

Problem: I installed the cube, and now my Contacts tab in HTC Home is gone!
Resolution: Delete the registry key: HKLM\Software\OEM\MASD\QuickDial

However, the quick dial side of the cube will no longer work. So you have to choose which you want more.

after downloading this app, my activesync stopped working, I have searched but have found nothing on this issue. anyone else having this problem or anyone know how to fix it?

The installation went through w/o error, rebooted but i cannot see it under Start -> Programs and launch the HTC Home Customizer

I can see HTC HTC Home listed under the add/remove programs, how am i supposed to access it?

Hi All,

I just bought HTC touch. I install the Home Customizer but i just can't get the contacts tab working. Under the about tab in HHC, I am running on HTC home plugin 2.1 build 1005722. Please help.

Having the same problem with my HTC Artemis. I can't get the quicklauncher and the contacttabs working... can somebody please help me?

Remove the following registry entry HKLM/Software/OEM/MASD/Quickdial

Soft reset the device and contacts tab will be shown!

i have remove the "HKLM/Software/OEM/MASD/Quickdial" but the contact tab still disappear (both cube(can't click the contact side) and htc home)

any comment?

I have looked for the entry, but i can't find the registry entry on my HTC Artemis. I see the tab, but i can't add contacts to the tab... that's my problem...

I have used this info with my ATT Tilt and my coworkers Sprint Touch and after a few resets it still works.. The contacts tab shows and it does not affect the cube on the touch or the one installed on the ATT Tilt..
