Is there a way to use bluetooth as headset?

I have been trying to use my bluetooth headset to play music from my phone into the headset. and it just doesnt work... is there a setting or a way to make my headset play music via the headset?

what kind of headset...mono ...one ear????

You need to be using an A2DP-enabled headset like the Plantronics Voyager 855.

or use this program. when enabled it redirects sound from phone to bluetooth headset. works fine if you just want something to listen to. it is not full stereo quality. but its pretty useful!
