I just seen the macbook air and its pretty thin, thin as though it would snap in half. Its also pretty expensive which isnt worth it for its specs. Who on earth would pay like 1100 pounds for a laptop that does Core 2 duo at 1.6mhz and has a Intel GMA graphic card.

I would say the macbook air is only worth it if you are a fashion concious buyer rather than a power user or a gamer :)

I use an Asus laptop that has a bigger display, twice much more RAM, and has a Nvidia 8600 GS graphic card for around the same price as a macbook air.

The only credit i would give to the macbook air is for being slim. Nothing else so special, although theres an optional solid state hard drive, but that cost extras.

The MacBook Air is par for the course for Apple. It's style over substance, and watered down to the lowest common denominator. I'll grant that Mac's are easier to use, until you try to do something that wasn't included from apple.
