How to Re-format standard Elf's 1 Gb microSD?

I've used card reader and tried to format from PC, but failed with message "write protected". Is there anyone who is able to format Elf's standard microSD?

Look on the SD card for a write protect tab. It's a small sliding switch on one side of the card. I suspect you or someone may have pushed in into the lock position.

I didnt think micro-SD had the switch as well..
U positive? seems so tiny...

updated news : I'm finally able to format the microSD using some tiny software (cab) I found on net. Unfortunately I forgot the name since I've re-flashed my Elf.

There is a lock switch on the SD adapter, certainly. :)
