sms/mms not working for qtek 9100 G3

i have a qtek 9100 that i just got off the internet. it is running windows 6, and im not sure what else it has on it, also i have at&t wireless service...and the guy i bought it from said that it is unlocked also.... but for some reason i can not send mms messages with it. i only have text nessages and my email service when i go to the messaging screen. im new to this site and i went thru everything the site told me to look at b4 i asked a question and i didnt see anything that told me how to enable this. i called HTC and they told me to look for a new ROM so i can activate this function, but after looking on other sites i ran into this one which looks like i came to the right place. im guess my phone didnt come with this function but i talked to some people and they said i could get it to work. i saw people posting their info

please help....after looking at some more things on here i was thinking that all i have to do is install a new ROM in my phone so i can get the function to work...ne have any ideas thanks alot
