I must admit I am at my wit's end here. I've spent the whole day, trying whole sorts of roms and programs to get my IIi to use the damn Bluetooth GPS receiver.

According to the instructions, when adding the device, the service/profile that should be available is "SPP Slave", some form of a serial port, but what I FIND is something called "Dev B". That may or may not be the root of the problem.

After the connection is established, pretty much none of the GPS software can detect it, even trying all sorts of COM Port combos, TomTom, Miomap, Destinator, etc. The Garmin Mobile XT managed to detect it, but stayed stuck at the acquiring satellite stage. I've hard resetted again in desperation, and now the Garmin program doesn't work anymore.

Sometimes when the programs try to probe the ports, the bluetooth light suddenly goes blinking wildly, usually meaning that the connection has broken. Sometimes it will flash slowly and quickly intermittenly, and in my control panel, I see it connecting...disconnecting...connecting, and so on, forcing a reboot.

Google hasn't really been much help, I'm just hoping anyone here has some ideas...I am almost ready to throw the receiver and the IIi against the wall in frustration.
