Disable Mobile Device Center Popup?

i'm really annoyed that every time i connect my smartphone to the vista pc, the mobile device center popup appears.

has anybody a clue, how to disable this popup? or have it in the systray would be ok...

i have written a small program in english and german to prevent the prozess to start the pop-up.

requirements:

- windows vista (only there 'Windows Mobile Device Center' runs)
- installation of 'Windows Mobile Device Center' version 6 or higher

installation:
- start program manually or put it in your startup folder.

function:
- the program will close the process wdmc.exe when it starts, so the popup created by the 'Windows Mobile
Device Center' will not be opened.
- use the icon in the systray to popup the menu for switching on/off or cancel the program.
- some applications (e.g. spritebackup) require the mobile device center, so you have to switch the program
off (right mouse tap on the icon in the systray) to run the application successful.
afterward you can switch it on again.

voraussetzungen:

- windows vista (den nur da läuft das 'Windows Mobile-Gerätecenter')

funktion:
- das programm schliesst den process wdmc.exe wenn er gestartet wird und verhindert so, dass das
fenster mit dem namen 'Windows Mobile-Gerätecenter' angezeigt wird
- im systray wird ein icon angezeigt, dort kann das programm ein- oder ausgeschalted werden.
- für einige applikationen (z.b. spritebackup) muss das programm über das menu (rechte maustaste auf
dem icon im systray) ausgeschaltet werden damit diese erfolgreich durchgeführt werden können.
danach kann das programm wieder eingeschaltet werden.

Very nice program. I am surprised that nobody else has commented on it. Thank you for your GREAT contribution. I am going to use it daily.

Now if I could only have a similar program that would prevent the add/remove programs dialog from popping up every time I connect my phone....life would be perfect!
