Don't get me wrong I like black too, but I think sometimes we women are forgotten. And Red is my favorite color!! Now it will match the skins on my phone.

I mainly like to have a consistent look about my device, so I design stuff to match. I'm a big fan of the glassy black bars right now, so most of my stuff is darker to match.

If I had one ultimate request, it'd be the ability to color the bars to an exact hex value (hue) so I had the flexibility I desire. I really, REALLY want to make a white theme, but it looks weird against dark bars.

If anyone ever sees one of my walls and wants a different color, just gotta ask. 99% of the time it takes me 5 minutes to put in the change :D

Oh, and maybe I'll let this slip a bit...

i cant send out MMS. i tried goin to MMS Option under a new MMS page. but there iso MMS option. is there another fix? i tried looking in this forums but nothing. i have the new biggy v2.7 if thats any help

Great looking wallpaper, can't wait for open touch v3.0 I like the fact that the wallpaper is not so busy so I can still easily read my appointments and such on the home screen. Thanks for all the hard work!

OMG!!! I gotta have the red!! I finally got a great red for the PocketCM. This would be so perfect. Kudos to you and othes for the graphics...I am graphically challenged, and have great respect for those who do this. Nice work!

alright finally got a round to flashing this onto to my wing and it looks great. here's my home screen after a little bit of tweaking.

i downloaded the attachment "2.5 home icons.zip" from the third post in this thread.

then i unzipped them into a folder.

then i search through until i found the clock numbers (i didn't want to change the icons as well).

then i copied the clock numbers (and the ampm and alarm clock icon) to the windows directory on the herald.

then i performed a soft reset.

PS i noticed that there are two different sizes of the background picture that are available for download. why is this? is there a way to switch to the wider image automagically when the phone goes into landscape mode?

has anyone else had this problem. after a soft reset, the phone will not go past the windows globe screen at all. I thought maybe a third party apps would have caused the problem, however last night(after it happening for the 6th time) i didn't have time to add any of my apps, but it did it again. So I have to do a hard reset and load off my contacts again which is not hard(but terrible if not infront of a computer) and set back all settings. has anyone else had this problem?...

It may be that I'm a genius or something, and when I think too hard, it causes my phone to crash lol.

oh yuh, one other thing.... I have no idea what netcf 3.5 is but i tried it cause it seems to be the next best thing. however it doesn't have the glass icons, and i'm bout to cry like a school girl. can anybody help me please.

1st time flasher here :D, just wanna say thanks for the links & the instructions! I really like this ROM as well. I just have a couple of questions/issues & was wondering if someone could help me.

The word completion/suggestion box doesn't come up when I am composing a message although the settings are checked. I have enabled & disabled T9 with no luck either way.

My MMS size is limited to 300k. I thought I read to download & run the WSPheader cab (which I did, not sure if that is the right name but the cab was in this thread) & it is still 300k.

I can't seem to download the ebuddy IM client file. I go to the website on my phone & click download & it just reloads the same screen.

I would like to set my left softkey to lock my phone instead of open the calender. I set it to "keylock" but that is simply the settings for keylock (only power button wakes up device, lock keys if device is locked & the like). How can I set it to actually lock the keys/keypad?

I read all 78 pages & didn't see any of these things addressed. Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

My phone is locked up/stuck! I did a power cycle & now it won't come back on. What I mean is the lights on the top (power, bluetooth) won't light up. It says "Open Touch" then gets stuck on the "Windows Mobile" screen & won't go beyond that point. What do I need to do now to have a functional phone?

if u have a memory card.. take out the memory card and do a soft reboot with out the memory card in the phone.. if that doesnt work.. flash again.

nope u dont have to flash back to the original ROM. u can do it off the one u have..:cool:

How do you change the color of the clock? I put the files in the Windows folder & I got a message saying I couldn't overwrite the files.

i was just gonna ask the same question too! i tried putting files in /windows but it says the "files" are read-only and cant be deleted/replaced!!!

how do we do this?

Hi,

The radio is for your phones reception and not a actual FM radio.

With this newier version there might be more battery drain, but you will receive better reception.

It's defaulted to 6mb, and you should really go flash v3.0, which is running wm6.1. Again ttran has cranked out yet another superb rom with v3.0! Go check it out.

Hello, I am a first time flasher and everything went fine. Thanks a bunch ivanmmj for your clear instructions. :)

I was really tensed because I got confused after reading hundreds of posts in this forum whether the active sync needs to be running in guest mode or not and even when I used the registry keys to force it to run on guest mode, it did not connect at all. I know active sync needs to be running to update the rom and finally I allowed it to run in normal mode after sync. Did I miss anything? :eek:

ttran, I love the rom and its really cool and fast with loads of apps. I just have one question and I am not sure whether it has been already answered and sorry if its a duplicate. If I remember it correctly my Tmobile stock ROM version was 4.10.531.3 but after flashing the version is 4.10.531.2. It doesnt matter to me but I thought of knowing the difference.

It's the same direction. The wing is only a variation of the Herald.

Hi, for the past couple of days wifi is not detecting my wireless network at my home. I tried to connect to couple of more networks and it did not discover any network at all. I deleted and added the network again but still it did not discover and connect to any network and my friend having wing stock rom was able to connect to my home network successfully.
Im having open touch 2.7 biggy. Need some help and thanks in advance.

i just upgraded to the light version of open touch 7.7...but now for some reason when i try to flash it to anything else it sits there then says that the phone isnt responding...but in that same aspect im still able to access all the files and its still connected through activesync....any ideas? :[
