Rom created on base WM6 for mpx200 by Strik3r.
Rus as default.
Eng language is not full!

First install Hard-SPL.
Then install rom with "ROMUpdateUtility"

If it is not problem, please:
- make english language fully usable (thousands of people use that language)
- please let people to choose the added soft by themself (putting programs in different language or programs people never use fills the memory, please remove!)

Ok, but:
1. CeleTask is in russian - me, and many people just can't use it. If you would put two language version (rus/eng) would be wonderful-)
I know the russian fonts (we all in Poland was learnig russian in the past:-) but please, put the english too:-)
2. Opera - as above, not usable for many people who doesn'y know russian. By the way - Jeodec - is it really 'needed' soft? Would you tell us what is the application for?
3. I have deleted tha shortcuts, but the applications can't be deleted because of 'ROM' attribute (is it possible to change it?)

P.S.
That IE you put on WM6 is also difficult to use for non-russian poeple:-)

Does it really need to use an old software in rom? Maybe something like celetask and resco explorer can be deleted from rom? Also conn manager needs to be included...

Now I am back with WM5 on my Oxy, because to many troubles with WM6, but as I remember I've changed both of them. Now I have to go out, but I will check it in the morning again, also the 0409.mui file. So I will let you know as soon as I can.

By the way - the MMS are in your WM6 'Messages' menu? There was only SMS and Emails in mine.

On MPX200?? No. It eat operative memory, then instaled (Because MMS is always launched), and I think - peoples who need MMS can install it mannualy (by .cab)...

Installing MMS by .cab? I was thinking that MMS is a part of WM? Where to find this .cab to be able to use MMS?
Making a WM system without MMS sounds very strange today, really, it's like a car without one wheel;-) and I think people will go back to WM5:-(

That MMS Composer doesn't work with Oxy, unfortunatelly. I have found other versions, but even if I launch it, they didn't work properly, is probably intended for Pocket, not Smartphone (keys works strange). More of it, when I go to 'Messages', there is only SMS and eMail, I can only choose MMS from context menu in SMS's, but there is nowhere to set MMS settings! Generally, forget MMS...

I want to say, that it was nice experience to see WM6 working on my Oxy. If somone use phone just to call and sms it is good solution. But if you want do something more - it is time time to wait:) Making system from different brics (specially so old like MPX200) - I know is not so easy to make perfect building. For egzample - I've installed GPRS monitor and it doesn't see my network interfaces. Probably there is too many differences between hardware and that software you used.

Now I am going back on 'grey' WM5 for a while and I have a big ask to you - would you please upload all .0409.mui files that which you put into WM6? Because there is only russian on that WM5 (celetask, miniOpera, IE, jeodec, rescoExplorer, etc.) and it is immpossible to get it from installed WM6 because of 'ROM' file attribute set (can't copy those files, even with RescoExplorer). Thanks in advance!

se cerchi un WM6 in italiano ancora è presto, pero puoi fare come ho fatto io, copia tutti i file 0410.mui della cartella windows del wm5 e copiali nella stessa cartella del wm6, nel file registro mui aggiungi la stringa 0410 con la descrizione italiano, inoltre tutte le applicazioni che installi, installale in italiano e la maggior parte della rom ti compare in italiano.

i was just wonderin... why cant a Tornado's WM6 ROM be modified for Oxygen. because the hardware on both these phone are same except da no QVGA display & no WiFi on oxygen the latest WM6 ROM by Nitrogeious are best wen put in use on Oxygen, also thr are many good english rom avaible for tornado with language packs avaible as extra... i dont know how to build such rom's but i wonder why the ppl who how to make such ROMs dont make a lil effort in makin such good Roms for an identical phone.... ????

I connect my smartphone to my PC under Windows Vista 64 with activsync. OK
I launch ROMUpdateUtility.exe it detect my smartphone ROM (1.7.74.2) and propose me to update with the WM6 ROM. I continue, my phone show a red-green-blue screen with Oxygen ONBL 1.07.0000 and othe informations and on the PC i've an error message

"ERROR 260 CONNECTION" and my phone locks on the red-green-blue screen and I have to reboot it...

Someone can help me with the procedure to flash my s310 ?

You must first use an SPL unlocker to make your device ready for flash upgrade.

could some extract the software from the wm6 rom and tho let only the : windows media player, Cele task, SIM manager, internet explorer, voice notes, foto and video camera, calculator, calendar :)

and to delete the software like: BT , fexplorer (Because I use SmartExplorer), OmapClock, SAP Settings, SIM Mgr (Not SIM Manager), T9 (Because I have my language T9) WM5torage (because is unstable),TCPMP v0.81 (because i have a new version), Jeodec with Opera Mini 4 (because I have a jbed who instal java aplication on the Storage Card) etc.
delete also all the sound files and the pictures :rolleyes:

And if can to add the attach file in the rom so the welcome screen change, (tha picture wheat the bubbels when the Smartphone is started) :cool:or change it vhit other

Going this way we will make so many ROMs as many users are here?
The best way is to put a standard ROM with standard set of MS programs - every one has different preferences of using programs, to don't make the mess.
