3.White screen is appear. Now your device is temorary CID-unlocked.
flash the gene spl patched by Olipro.(it's HSPL)

i've also noticed that the RUU version in the readme.txt is different than the RUU version in the zip file.
the RUU version in the txt file is 3.6.3.5
the RUU version in your zip file is 3.12.3.0

Sorry. First Im run not your's version of RUU.
But when I run your's RUU, some times device dont enter bootloader, sometimes enter in bootloader (white screen), but RUU error 'Not connected' appears.
When I run enterbootloader.exe on device, white screen is shown, but RUU dont find device and error 'connect' is appears. Windows notify, 'USB device isnt work properly', and mtty not find usb port.

@Olipro....sir, i tried to update my gene with the RUU you provided here.. the screenshot i have attached here is from my pc... it shows that the version i currently have on my gene is actually recent than your rom of version 1.something..... is this normal? should i proceed further and click next? or is there something wrong coz i dont want to delete everything i have on my gene to degrade the rom.. thnx in advance for a promt reply from you or anyone who knows this thing :)

that will allow you to flash custom ROMs on your device.

Dont use it on another devices.
DONT USE THIS ON NEW DEVICES, WITH SERIAL NUMBER BEGINNING WITH HT8......
IT BREAK YOUR DEVICE

Use it at own risk.

Usage:
Copy file 'gene_hspl.exe' on your device and run it.
After device will reboot, and SPL version on startup will be 1.10.Olip.

Thats all.

the bastard RUU checks the fucking signatures on the NBH... so the stuff I did originally is completely sound, it's just that the RUU checks it.

soooo... I'll release this with a patched up RUU so it flashes, fucking HTC

Hey sup guys,

FYI it's not the POWER button and the CAMERA button that you should press together,
but the CAMERA button and the VOICE COMMAND button. The VOICE COMMAND button is situated beneath the CAMERA button.

That will stop the 270 errors and complete the upgrade.

Hi i have an HTC p3400i (its p3400i not p3400) it comes with WM6 i tried gene_wm61_wwe.rar which has gene_hspl.exe included i used it on my device the device restarted now it has ONBL 1.1.7.0000 and SLP 1.10.Olip.
i tried to flash the rom the ruu gives error "ERROR [300] : INVALID UPDATE TOOL" now i cant boot the device nor can i to hard reset. do i have any way to reset my spl to ver 1.1.7.000(my device dose not boot). or is there other way u can help be

I used the gene_hspl.exe on my P3400 phone yesterday and it bricked my mobile, I can only see tricolor screen with the following information:

I just copied the file to my phone and run it, then it went off and nothing happened.
I can only boot up to tricolor screen by pressing power+cam+reset, hard reset doesn't work.

In some new models of Gene, since Marth 2008, HTC used new version of SPL (its serial number is HT814 and higher).
Olipro's HSPL dont work on them, and my gene_hspl flashing old version of SPL and brick it.

I was dump SPL from new models, and patch it.
I create 'gene_hspl_HT8x' for this models of Gene.
Just copy program on your device (not memory card) and run it.
If your SPL version 26 Mar 2008, then program flash patched version, else do nothing.
After reboot SPL version is 1.07.Oref

In some new models of Gene, since Marth 2008, HTC used new version of SPL (its serial number is HT814 and higher).
Olipro's HSPL dont work on them, and my gene_hspl flashing old version of SPL and brick it.

I was dump SPL from new models, and patch it.
I create 'gene_hspl_HT8x' for this models of Gene.
Just copy program on your device (not memory card) and run it.
If your SPL version 26 Mar 2008, then program flash patched version, else do nothing.
After reboot SPL version is 1.07.Oref

Thanks for the patch, unfortunately I got it a little late, and now I have my Gene stocked on bootloader because of Olipro patch. Do you have any idea how I can make it alive, I have another Gene the same as my stocked one, so is there any way using the ROM or SPL on the working one to repair the other one?

Test your SPL - can you hardspled him with gene_hspl_HT8x.
1. Copy bkondisk.exe and bk1.lnk on your device, at root (no memcard).
2. Run bk1.lnk on device. File bk_06_0001.img is appear on device.
3. Compare that file with spl.bin file (use WinHex, TotalCommander or other file compare programm)
If no difference in those files, you can run gene_hspl_HT8x.exe on your device.

After using olipro patch my phone became bad CID and currently I have no access to the dead Gene, I mean the phone will not go to the OS and I can only boot it to the tri-color bootloader, so I guess the only way I have to access the phone is via USB cable and in bootloader mode using mtty program or a flash upgrading program ignoring CID.
So is there anyway using your program on a PC connected to the phone?

And, for worst, the device is not mine, I wanted to do a favor for a friend of mine, because the OS was in Russian language, and now the fucking thing is bricked! I dont know what to do! Pleeeaaassse help me, I'm realy desperated!

I developed another version of GENE HSPL.
This program flash to your Gene (HTC P3400, Dopod D600) SPL from Olipro,
that will allow you to flash custom ROMs on your device.

Dont use it on another devices.
DONT USE THIS ON NEW DEVICES, WITH SERIAL NUMBER BEGINNING WITH HT8......
IT BREAK YOUR DEVICE

Use it at own risk.

Usage:
Copy file 'gene_hspl.exe' on your device and run it.
After device will reboot, and SPL version on startup will be 1.10.Olip.

Thats all.

It work well on my device.

Guys i need help I posted on several other posts and had some replies but noone knows how to solve d problem!
Just to continue on previous post my serial does start with ht8....
I'll say all d facts i know till know so if someone can define d problem please help me!
I have 3400, with installed wm5. something, i wanted to install any other rom,
6.0 or 6.1, any just to make it look better and function better and be more finger friendly, it was bought in dubaii(if that means something),
I have a lot of add-ons and they are just not that!
I tried a lot of times to put new rom on, the reports were from that i need a newer upgrade than mine???????(wm5) than that the upgrade is broken so it stops at 2 %, if anyone thinks i didnt put olipros thing on, I DID, and managed to pull it all to working as described in pdf i found and all other explanations on this wonderfull forum but when rom utility starts somthing always does not pull it to the end! Tried it all many times and still nothing!

I didnt even check out the forum for some period now but I am loosing hope that I will someday make this p3400 to be better!And I dont have d money to go buy any other more expensive htc!

Please let all of us know what rom are you trying to flash and the update tools you are using to flash the ROM, it could be that you are using the wrong update tools.

Please take a look at the same thread to unbrick your GENE's. Even I had the same kind of brick and was able to unbrick it using the Krazy's how to.

The issue was due to HTC start making two version of Gene's (OLD and NEW). And we accidentally patching the SPL with the wrong one.

see the last line in my sign click on it and read the same it also has all the req tools

if u have a blank dead screen do this
1. off the phone
2.take battery out
3.Press the power button without the battery in it for a few secs
4.put battery back in to the phone keep pressing camera button and power on the phone u will get tri color screen use the USB cable and flash ROM
or Press camera button and Power and soft reset with the stylus this will also give u the tricolor screen
