I am interested in purchasing a Brodit Holder witht the fixed type fitting. They have a molex adapter which I am hoping will allow me to charge the BT receiver aswell.

Anyone have this Mount and can recommend it?

i've had a brodit active mount for my old hp 6828 and recently got one for the touch. i'm not aware of anyone else who makes oem quality mounts.

the 6828 mount was excellent, the unit slid in perfectly. the touch mount isn't as good, you need to slide the touch in usually with two hands. however, it is still a good product.

i wanted to use the molex connector to power my bluetooth gps also, but couldn't find the other connector (didn't search very much) but wired the gps from power behind the dashboard via a 12v-usb charger - does the same thing i suppose, but yes the molex solution is very tidy.

I have the brodit holder for my Touch. It slides in easily with one hand and stays put.

My bluetooth GPS has a good battery so doesn't need charging very often (although now watch it run out on me mid direction), plus I have a little coin pocket on my dash that it fits nicely into.
