Unsure if this will give us GPS access as this may have to be written into the firmware somehow, but this seems like it's a step in the right direction.

that's a smartphone version of the GPSID tool. this is already included on our titans. it configures external gps only right now, since no internal gps drivers are present.

Sorry, but it's not even a step in any direction. It's a smartphone version of an app we've had all along. Fingers crossed Sprint keeps their word and enables GPS for us...

Now, if Sprint does indeed unlock this feature for you, is there a way to reverse engineer it? Maybe hack it to create a new ROM that other users (who are stuck with other carriers) could use?
