My touch screen stops responding after leaving my device overnight charging. I think when it reaches 100% or something my screen stops responding to inputs. Needs to soft reset.

Do you have SRS WOW installed?
I had a couple of instances of touch screen stop responding after I installed SRS WOW and all fine after uninstalling.

another problem, 6828 rom file should be diskimage_ver.nb0, but I download the 20080411 updated was the diskimage.nbo, they are different, is it?

If you are updating from PC, you need to add the 12 byte header to diskimage.nb0 to turn it into diskimage_ver.nb0.
You can do this using a hex editor or by using Helloworld1's addheader.jar java program which you will find on the first page of this thread.

You can downgrade your bootloader to 1.01 by flashing the earlier hp WM5 rom:

A dictionary cause the gprs problem!! Very incredible. The radio should be updated separately, it can not be included in a diskimg.nb0. Btw, updating using pc can flash the radio along with my rom though.

hehehhee......i don't know what realtion between dictionary and gprs anyway...:D
the important thing is my gprs work again (till now) after uninstal livingsoft dict.

ENTER BOOT LOADER MODE (press both softkey (-) (-) and push reset) - your pc should detect your phone in bootloader mode.

1. Unzip the package below to c:\windows\temp (replace all)
2. run Device Software Update Utility.exe from c:\windows\temp
3. Click on Update Item "All" use cursor keys to change it to "OS ONLY" then hit next
**** SELECT "OS ONLY", if you cant change it to "OS ONLY" DONT PROCEED!!!
4. It should detect your device as Model 0 etc.
5. Flash your device and wait for it to finish flashing after 15-30mins.

Note: You should have 1.01 BL else it wont work.

If you were trying to load WM6.1 via miniSD card then you didn't need to downgrade the BL to 1.01. That is only neccessary if you want to use the PC method.

If you intended to update via PC then follow the instructions on the second post of this thread, as quoted by rcperez above.

I'm using a RW6818, on a B95 rom.

As tested Bluetooth compatibility are as follows:

Jabra headset - Perfectly working
HP BT Stereo Headset - Working
ActiveSync PT Internet - Working
Stowaway BT Keyboard - Not working, unable to load driver error.

Note: the stowaway BT keyboard is verified working on a WM6.1, too bad its not running on this build. Any ideas?

amazing work done here.

i loved your rom a lot unfortunately; the active sync does not work and i bricked my device almost a couple o dozen times trying to fiddle between several ROMs.

Frankly right now i have no ckue which one I'm using.

but i did manage to get a few permanent solutions from here.
Like:-

A2DP.
WM6.1
I have also got the latest version of pocketmusic so if anyone wants it PM me.

But my main concern is that

1)Has activesync functionality been restored with your rom?
2)if you need help with cooking and finding solutions with ROM's please do tell me I'm not a pro but I used to work on programming before and learn really fast.

I really appreciate what you and a few other guys are doing as HP has completely ditched us. and yeah the ROM's you guys have uploaded make the camera a pleasurable thing to use rather than pain.

I did alot of research on the volume tones including the ringtone,incoming messaging tones and the general system volume. Everything seems to lead to a certain file called wavedev.dll .

Is it possible if u try to extract the wavedev.dll from the HP latest WM5 rom for RW6828 and dump it into the WM6.1 rom. Might revert back our sound to the originally loud volume.

I think I would be looking at amplify the .wav file using a sound editor, at times you can see the .wav (or mp3) files aren't that loud to start with.

BTW, I have copied some MIDI files (.mmf) from my wife's Samsung i320N onto my 6828 (still running b39), it's really LOUD!! Just as loud as any Nokia or Sony phones, never heard such a loud volume from 6828!

I think if you really want loud ringtone (or message/alarm volume), may be need to use MIDI file, otherwise try my abovementioned method to increase volume in wav file instead.

Yeah I understand what you meant. I am still on b39, and I have noticed no difference in volume compared to HP official WM5, may be it's a WM6.1 thing.

Otherwise try MIDI file, to me it's loud to a point that I feel ambarrassed when the phone go off in a noisy shopping mall with hundreds of people.

Try reformat your miniSD card to FAT/VFAT/FAT16 using a card reader with WinXP, or use a different miniSD card smaller than 1G size, this is a very common problem.

btw, i have change my 6828 BL 1.0.5 to wm6 using 1GB minisd.. its works.. now my 6828 more powerfull, faster n more saving battery.. a battery consumption before upgrade to wm6 up to 1,5 day.. after upgrade upto 3 days.. unfortunately, my ipaq now detected as O2 atom n free ram only 22mb, memory internal free 40 mb :( .. wkwkwkwk..

Hi everybody,

after using Nochban rom (which works great, but it is too much HTC customized) I was looking for a clean rom to upd my 6815, and foud that this one CAN be used for 6815s. Great.
I have a couple of questions though:

- can I follow the normal upgrade process even if I already have a custom (Nochban) rom instead of an original one?
- Is PocketCM installed in the rom? Or maybe it is not useful in WM6.1 (I love because it makes me REALLY close the app when I click on the "X" button)
- I understood this ROM has chinese support, what about Japanese? I DO need it.
- Since SPB restore cannot be used (because of the registry tweaks), how can I export/import the sms (Jeyo is not working with Vista/Office2007)? If I use SPB backup and choose a custom backup for messages only, will it overwrite registry settings as well? I would like to have the tweaks of this rel.
- Is Active Sync working? I use mainly Vista and the new sync app from Microsoft
- which rom to use? Is the last one (20080411b95:http://www.mediafire.com/?lljgzmmzzkg) good for the 6815?

Yeah FAT should do it, if not successful then I'm tipping that your miniSD card has something to do with it.

Try borrow someone's miniSD card or buy one if necessary since it's so cheap (smaller than 1G size highly recommended), quite a few people on this post had the same issue as yours, but always successful in the end by trying different smaller cards.

I don't sense that wm5 stack is faster. Wm 6.1 one is more functional with only a few slight bugs like auto a2dp connection.

This rom does not contain pocketcm because you can install it easily and also this may interfere you installing the newer version.

Japanese is partially supported in this rom. I haven't tried it though.

i used to flashed my device using ROM from helloword1 thru PC... it always works... but last night i tried to flash using SDcard...

after awhile in boot loader mode... it restarted... show the HP screen...(i know that the rom has change because there is no version on the screen)... but it never show the windows screen.. so i reset.... still the same... finally i do a hard reset....
then it died....

there for i would never recommend anyone to flash using SDcard... PCflash is alot safe.

What do you mean it died? We've all had flashes that go bad. You can usually still get to the bootloader screen though.

Flash using SD crad more sava than pc metode. I flash my device 6 times with sd card and no nighmare happened with my device. you still can go to boot loader, and it 's mean you can reflash again, put the diskimg file in the clean sd card (without any files/folder except only imgfile) and try to reflash. good luck friend.

it is now Resurrected...
however now there's a weird thing.... when i'm going to bootloader mode... the device died again...

My bt stereo headset is iTech R35. It works without any problem in my b39 WM6 ROM. But the auto connection is not working on my WM6.1 ROM. Anything else is OK. I don't know what is your headset's brand.

Splatted the FANTASTIC Helloworld1's ROM (WM6.1 b95) on my rw6815, but RIGHT NOW.. I just found that WiFi is not switching-on!
I click on "Turn On" but no antenna icon shows, and in the WiFi Utility screen it says Radio Off.
BT is working good (not tried paring yet, but it switches on).
Do you know of ANY problem with WiFi??
I do need it working... prior to HelloWorld's rel I used NOCHBANME and there was no prob, but I do prefer this one since it is cleaner... I hate to lose control over my stuff :D :cool:

I don't have any problem with wi-fi on my device. You may hard reset and see if it works. Note, please do a soft reset thereafter.

There are many people posting their experience in this long thread, you can take time to read it. I am a little busy recently, so I will summerize them later in the first thread.

Generally speaking, there is NO big change and NO big bug in the wm 6.1 rom. Battery life is slightly shorter, performance is a little higher, a2dp headset may not auto connect. The SMS is threaded, bluetooth stack is more functional, windows update, internet calling(b87).

That of course is just IMHO, anyways, in WM5 BT Passthrough is flawless with A2DP, BT HS, and MobiTV :D with 6.1 it keeps on stopping and lagging, even when priority has been modified (running on a 1MBPS PC net). Is there a way to install the old stack via cab method? I wish i could use my Stowaway BT Keyboard with your excellent rom, it was working fine with PDAViet 6.1

Other than that its perfect, with the power management patch that you gave, could run my phone 2 1/2 days straight on slight usage.

Battery life is shorter in all wm6.1 rom. But you can install a patch to prolong the battery life while suffering some performance loses.

Wm5 does not have a hard reset screen, it just will hard reset without prompting, so I can only use the atom one.

How stupid I was to flash this rom on my O2 xda Atom, everything went smoothly when I flashed this rom to my device, and when the boot up screen came up, Hp logo appeared, then windows mobile logo, then the screen asked to tap the screen to begin using my device. At that time, I absolutely thought that there was nothing wrong with this rom. :confused:

Ok here's how the nightmare came, the touch screen didnt seem to respond, this time I knew I flashed the wrong rom for my device, I tried entering to bootloader mode by pressing camera and reset button at the same time, it didnt work either. That's how I knew I ruined my device with wrong rom installed

I tried to search around and look for a way to recover bootloader mode to reinstall suitable rom, since Helloworld1 instruction didnt seem to help (cause there's no such (-) button on O2 xda Atom). Some posts sugested going to Atom wiki of xda-developers.com, the page didnt seem to be loaded to my browser, I dont know why, so I tried google and searched around. After over 1 hour searching, I found this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=336278 but it seemed to be related too much on electronic, and it's pretty hard to proceed, further more it was for xda Atom Exec, so it's almost impossible for me to do it, then I tried clicking on every pair buttons and reset button at once just hope to enter bootloader mode. When it seemed to be hopeless, I tried the last pair, the DIAL button (little phone icon in green) and HANG UP button (little phone icon in red) and reset button at once, my device enter boot loader mode of Hp device (it's BL1.01), then I plug my device to my PC and tried installing a suitable O2 xda Atom rom, wow, what a miracle, the rom was installed smoothly. And that's how my device recovered.

I know I was such an idiot, but I would like to send this message to everyone to be more careful, and also to you, Helloworld1, can you edit a bit of your post to warn people not to flash this rom to any device other than Hp IPAQ?

What do you mean? This rom is designed for 6828, and of course it works. You can install SRS to improve the audio quality and the volume level. The original volume is a little light.

First, the wifi light is working on my 6828. The camera flash light do not work though.
Second, I have ALREADY cut the 12 byte header, so it is safe to flash using a SD card. I said that if you need to flash using RUU you need to ADD 12 BYTE.

I found that b95 wm6.1 in my 6828 will have fews problems.

1, schedule/ calendar page in day mode missing the arrow of next week (Right-upper corner one) seems like out of range

2, in camera mode can't use flash light (it's small problem can use other program to open)

3, My i-tech R35 bt handfree, after sync with the phone, no headphone icon shown on start menu taskbar. Just only can see on the dail phone page.

4, can't install chinese input method software and some call filtering s/w can't function. like(MagicCall)

Actually your rom is very near to perfect.

1. It is an interesting problem. I don't even notice that an arrow is missing. I will try to look into it.

2. Camera flash light is working like the real camera. It lit up only when you press the capture button. Though you can not use it as a flash light without other sofware's aid.

3. Yes, the icon is missing, but a2dp icon is there. It really doesn't matter a lot. This problem persists in almost all wm6 and 6.1 rom, including standard edition.

4. I am using plum I.M 6 beta 2(点讯输入法) without any problem. Some softwares are incompatible with 6.1 rom.

Can you turn on the fm radio without plugging in the headset? If yes, maybe, it is your hardware problem. The little switch in headset is always on, so the system thinks that the headset is in even if it is not plugged. I myself also have this problem. But I get it temprorily fixed and I do not use wired headset thereafter.
How to fix? Simple! Use a niddle or toothstick to plug in the headset socket and try to pull out the metal reeds in it. You may open a media player while doing this, so you will hear when it is ok.
If you do not know how to do, you can just use a needle to stir about in the headset socket(hole).

-)I've to say wow...everything is working perfect

-)LED is working too (i've turned off phone function and then there was no LED,sorry)

-)camerapatch won't work(i see hp camerascreen but it can't open the camera)
It can be solved when take cameraapps from " HP68XX - PDAVIET ROM WM6.1 CE 5.2.19209 Build 19209 by NHOCBANME"!!!!
there are the cameraapps and hp photosmart!i'm tested-camera and photosmart work in NHOCBANME ROM!!
So it will be nice if helloworld1 or someone else can apply camera&photosmart from NOCBANME ROM to this one,so we will have a perfect clean rom for Hp rw6815 !!I would do it by myself,but i'm a medicine student and i don't about ROM-cooking;)

6815 doesn't have radio, and the rom is prepared for 6828 which has radio. so it's ok :)

I installed the latest rom, this one is the best WM6.1 version I've ever tried. The only problem I have is with the camera. The one in pda-hack doesn't work. Since I don't use the camera that much, this is an excellent release.

I think it is ok to restore backup. I have just changed drivers.
The A2DP auto connection still have a little problem, you need to turn 6828's bluetooth first and then power on the headset and press the connect button on the headser(if any) . Or it will not auto connect.

What do you mean with "too many steps"?
You just need to copy the file to mini SD and flash it.
1. Go to http://www.mediafire.com/?cw91jweyyxz and download the file. Unzip the contents to a folder (except for diskimg.nr0, you don't need this).
2. Download the file pcupdate.zip on the first post of this thread and unzip the contents to the same folder you used in step 1.
3. Download the latest Rom file and extract to the same folder
4. Execute the addheader.jar program in "cmd" by "cd" to your destiny folder and then execute "java -jar addheader.jar diskimg.nb0"(no quotes in the cmd). it will take a while to complete.
5. Move your phone to boatloader mode ( press the two - keys, follow by a poke at the soft reset hole with your stylus )
6. Connect the phone to the PC
7. Execute the Device Utility Update program and wait till it verifies the state.
8. Press Next to begin flashing.
9. Once completed, the phone will reset by itself. Wait for a while for it to startup.

Note: the Main.java is the source code of addheader program. You do not need to put it in your destiny directory. Download sun's JRE here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp

1) what CPU speed does this rom run at? I'm pretty sure the Atom Exec roms run at 620 max or so, is that the case with this rom?

2) Are there any reasons you can see not to upgrade to this rom? ie. are you planning some big change soon? I keep hearing about Internet Explorer 6.1 being improved, but haven't seen it in a rom yet, do you think its worth waiting?

3) I'm after longest battery life, any issues?

4) can you post somewhere a list of known bugs/issues you're working on?

I was making a call just then via bluetooth headphone, as soon as it starts ringing, I jumped as the volume is incredibly loud, so loud it is so much distortion I couldn't make out what other person is saying.

I had to turn my headset to absolute minimum plus the incall volume to the absolute minimum to get a "bearable" volume , but still too loud.

But after the call I need to turn up the incall volume, otherwise there will be no sound, anyway I can adjust this?

Sorry I can not help. Because I get this file from "bimsdae" in this forum and haven't tested. Maybe "PDAStatus" is a much better choice.

I have one question though, how do you display the battery lifetime and memory space into the WM6 desktop?
In WM5, you have this options whereby you can choose to have this on or off from the 'Today' button found in the Personal settings. Is there anyway you can make this reappear so that I can start monitoring my battery life percentage and the free memory?

Can you enable this through the registry?

Ah, this is the problem of the new threaded SMS. Search the forum and there are many programs that can switch between the traditional SMS and threaded SMS.

Or there are ways to use registry tweaks.

Hello everybody.
My 6828 is stuck in headset mode too, the socket is jammed or broken and the 6828 thinks the headset is plugged in all the time! :eek:
What is the hardware fix please, the links in the quoted post just take me to an Asian web site's logo.
Since I don't use the headset much I'm happy to do without it if there is a software workaround. I don't know how to do registry tweaks so if someone has a registry fix I need full instructions please.

To add a new folder you need to disable the threaded SMS first. This app (SMS Chat Enabler) can be used to switch to threaded or standart sms mode as you like.:D;)

i hit problem! i m using b95 rom for a while w/o no problem n very happy wit it. last night, my battery went flat totally that windows prohibited me fr power on it. i charged the phone and left it for a night, the LED turn from red (or amber) to yellow to show it's fully charged nxt morning. i tried to power on, no success, the power button din respond so i poke the device to softreset it. usual hp bootscreen shown. it stayed at the bootscreen forever, so i removed the battery for a while and put it bck, again it stayed at the bootscreen. i decided to hardreset it, it stayed at Device clean boot... Reset to factory default msg forever. so, i proceed to reload the rom fr minisd card. well, it went thru as usual (bootloader screen then clean boot screen --> this showed rom upgrade is successful) but again it stayed at the clean bootscreen forever. i used the "semi brick" method in page 1 to reload the rom, same result.

what else can i do?

I am very surprised that a battery failure can cause so serious problem!
You can try to flash the original wm5 rom.

Can you turn on the fm radio without plugging in the headset? If yes, maybe, it is your hardware problem. The little switch in headset is always on, so the system thinks that the headset is in even if it is not plugged. I myself also have this problem. But I get it temprorily fixed and I do not use wired headset thereafter.
How to fix? Simple! Use a niddle or toothstick to plug in the headset socket and try to pull out the metal reeds in it. You may open a media player while doing this, so you will hear when it is ok.
If you do not know how to do, you can just use a needle to stir about in the headset socket(hole).

I took my risk plugging in my long-time-unused, dusty headset in my 6828 and plug out several time to test it today. Luckily my plug socket do not corrupt again but unfortunately, I haven't reproduced your problem.

The Chinese version is almost the same as b92 ROM. But it should have less problem than b92 WWE Rom.
I haven't replaced the driver, so I don't know whether it support SDHC. If it doesn't, the driver can be easily installed.

tried too. i downloaded the latest rom with radio upgrade fr hp website, flashed successfully but again stuck at clean boot. today decided to send in to hp svc ctr for recovery, hopefully it's not totally bricked n rest in peace.

so to the rest, just watch out dun let ur battery totally flatten. it may o may not happen to u though.

However, If I power on, all the keys can work.

It is just like being button lock already, but I cant find, how to deactivate it.

Only thing that was not accurate was when hard resetting it shows to press phone green and red button(dial and disconnect) whereas it was hard resetting when we pressed the two soft keys above these buttons. Also i find that the volume of rings has slightly reduced. Can we increase it further? Also while using Pocket Ringo I find that the ringtones play only for 2-3 secs. and after that there is no sound although the vibration and call continues.

HP didn't have hard reset menu, so the original atom still used. I have same problem with you for pocket ringo and because of that I don't use it again. you can increas the volume by installing SRS WOW, you can find it in this thread.

Couldn't help but noticed you had the same problem as I did last time, I've been using Kumara ROM, MedKid's and Sonblack. Whenever I got stuck on the boot screen, I just took out my battery and SIM card and put it in again, sometimes it will work once, sometimes I had to remove and insert my SIM a few times. But overall it worked, hopefully your problem is not more serious than that :)

it doesn't work at all. I can not configure anything. It seems like an operator specified voip app,that means it is configured by mobile operator who provide a voip service. Skype, fling, talkanout are all free IMs app with voip support.

For SIP client, Fling works, but buggy, try SJPhone, a dedicated SIP client, once set up, voice quality is perfect, of course you can only do that over wi-fi and you can only use the wired hand-free or speaker phone.

Your BL (bootloader is 1.00.01 Cannot install by SD Card method. Must use the one pc install method.

press and hold both "-" and then push the reset hole.

Try to remove battery, push both "-" keys and while holding them, put the battery in and hold the keys for a little while, then release the keys. Wait a while, it will be in bootloader mode.

Should be nothing happened if there is no file with nb0 extension,
I ever flash with mini SD full of data, and it's work, but more save if you use clean mini SD.

I pull out the battery for a moment, and then put it back and open the PPC. This time, I try to open the camera by accessing the camera menu from Programs. The camera is fine. Then I try pressing the camera button again, and the camera is fine too. I wonder what happen to the first try ?

The speaker volume is rather low though...and I realize, it's Atom's Life ROMS...but what a great work anyway...I think I can boost the speaker with SRS WOW HD.

Meanwhile, I kept thinking, why is my method of entering bootloader mode is not the same like the usual (by pressing and holding both "-" keys and push the reset hole with stylus) but, first I must pull out the battery, then press and hold the "-" keys while putting back the battery in, then release the "-" keys...??

After hard reset, you need to do a soft reset to get the camera working. Many of the OEM part of this ROM is taken from the Atom life.

2. Goto 'HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Today\Items\' and create a new key as follows: "Today Panel" (Include the quote as well)
3. Create a new REG_SZ value with the Value Name: "dll" and Value Data: "todaypanel.dll" (Do not include quote)
4. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Enabled" and Value Data: "1" (Do not include quote) (Base should be "Decimal")
5. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Flags" and Value Data: "1" (Do not include quote)
6. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Options" and Value Data: "0" (Do not include quote)
7. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Order" and Value Data: "3" (Do not include quote) (This is to prioritize which items come first. Please make sure that this does not have the same number as the other items)
(You can find out the other items' order by selecting the other items key)
8. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Selectability" and Value Data: "2" (Do not include quote)
9. Create a new REG_DWORD value with the Value Name: "Type" and Value Data: "4" (Do not include quote)
10. This should triggered the dll to be installed into the Windows Mobile system.
NB: If it doesn't trigger to install the dll, go to the today under 'Settings\Personal\Today' and go to 'items'. You should now see the "Today Panel" item. (If you still cannot see the "Today Panel" item, please restart device)

I have been playing a lot of Solitaire and i most cases nothing happened. But occasionally it has caused my WM to hang. When it hangs, the screen will slowly turn to white by adding white lines slowly over the screen.

As I have played the game for around 1 - 2 hours with a little break in between, it has actually hanged twice.

I just want to know if this is a known issue and if you can find some spare time to find out more about this and maybe fix it. But to say the most, it is a great ROM.

1) I use GPRS to connect to my e-mail , using default messaging program in WM6. Also using Opera, everything fine.

For me useful internet connection on my laptop , so it's important for me share GPRS connection. Still trying to find nice solution to connect laptop to internet.

One more thing , AutoConfigurator has only Australia and Asia, when i try to copied European .xfg files , it doesn't recognize my country :((

GPS working now, my mistake-I used wrong outgoing port.

One more question, if I flash to rom b101, I can restore using SPB backup, without any loss of data right, I know this has been ask many times,
just to make sure only.

I also tried Sprite backup, after initial scanning, it soft reset to prepare for backup, then after loading, it soft reset itself again and says error in log, and couldnt be backup.

GPS working now, my mistake-I used wrong outgoing port.

One more question, if I flash to rom b101, I can restore using SPB backup, without any loss of data right, I know this has been ask many times,
just to make sure only.

I also tried Sprite backup, after initial scanning, it soft reset to prepare for backup, then after loading, it soft reset itself again and says error in log, and couldnt be backup.
Any chance of using Sprite backup in future.

You can restore it safely with spb backup. I have tried it myself. It prompts some warnings when backing up, but it really doesn't matter.

I played it again and again(I am very bad at this game), but it didn't halt. Did the device constantly halt in other app?

Hehehe.. I guess you were lucky not to encounter one. The game get hang randomly, sometimes just after a few games and in most cases after so many games.

I have not encountered this problem with other apps. Don't worry so much about it, I am sure I can live with it.

When you mentioned A2DP sound skipping problem, does it include using phone through bluetooth?

I am currently experiencing quite a number of problem when using phone with bluetooth.

1. When there is an incoming phone call, if I pressed the soft key to answer the call instead of the bluetooth button, I will not be able to transfer the phone to bluetooth. (It is simply disabled somehow) (In WM5, This was possible)
2. When there is an incoming phone call and I pressed the bluetooth key to answer, it goes to the phone speaker instead.
3. (Relate to problem No. 2) When I tried to transfer the phone to bluetooth headset, the whole screen froze and stuck there while the phone was still going.
4. When there is an incoming phone call, the ringtone was skipping. (Is this fixed with the b101?)

FYI, I am currently using b99 and have Slide2Unlock installed and currently using that interface for my caller ID.

I don't patch sdhc it intentionally but I have not tried it.

I have tried installing ipaq audio but failed. the settings can not be saved.

I don't have such problem. And there is no ringtone if I connect the device with bt headset, it just vibrate and the headset notify the incoming call.

Sorry, I updated my reply. I used to be in b95 and upgraded to b99 and the music skid and I returned to b95. I have the 8G card used in b95 and b101 as well.

The brand of my card is A-DATA microSD (already mentioned in my previous post). You need to have a MiniSD Adaptor for microSD.
